I had a long and arduous work day so I wanted to treat myself from my favorite sandwich shop. Bought a giant Chipotle chicken sandwich to go with no peppers. I must have stressed “no peppers” at least twice which may have pissed off the worker, because I came home only to discover peppers in my sandwich. It was fun picking all the peppers out of my sandwich, butchering the meal I had planned as a treat. I was still able to taste the peppers from the cheese it infused with so straight to the trash it went.

My daughter ordered her sandwich from the app she wanted her free chips and drink-I went down there 10 minutes late – I ordered another sandwich in person was ready in under 5 minutes – but the one ordered on the app took 30 minutes and said it would be ready in 10 – even though they Knew I was waiting- the staff didn’t even care – worst customer service ever- Now the sandwich I ordered was supposed to be hot and it’s cold- updating review they reached out and apologized-

I had a bad experience with this particular Jersey Mikes in Buena Park. Firstly, they put your food directly on their dirty tables. No wax paper/no foil/nothing under your food. Just their dirty table and the food you will soon eat. Secondly, I let the guy know it’s a vegetarian sandwich. He told his coworker too. She continued touching cold meat and then the vegetarian sandwich. I had to tell her to change gloves. Anyhow, by that time I totally lost my appetite and gave away the sandwich I paid for. These are basic things all people who deal with food should be trained on.

Shout out to the employee here with 2 different size gauges. Made sure I had absolutely everything I needed and was friendly and cool about it. Gave me samples of the pepper relish I didn’t ask for (which is my new favorite) and I witnessed them care for other customers and their needs in a way that really stood out at a Jersey Mikes. Carried themselves very cool, calm, and confident as well. Highly recommend keeping and promoting this person, JM.

When I pay $20+ dollars on a sandwich it better be amazing. I have always loved Jersey mikes but the last 3 sandwiches I’ve gotten from this location have been awful! Super dry and over cooked bread ruined the whole thing. The first time I called and complained and was told I could come pick up a new sandwich for free. The original one I received had ridiculously dry bread. Like you picked it up and it crumbled apart. I picked up my new sandwich and it was okay. Still not great but because they were willing to try to make it right I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Today when I ordered my sandwich this is what it looked like when it arrived. This is white bread, but it’s so over cooked it looks wheat. When I called to complain this time I was told “all our bread is baked fresh. Sorry you aren’t happy but next time I will make sure it’s perfectly baked.” Unfortunately there will be no next time for me. So so so disappointed.

First let me start by saying I love Jersey Mike’s. But today was terrible. I was all excited about the half off all sandwiches sale. I began by using my app to order online. First, it said 30 wait time by the time i was done it changed to 45 min. So i cancelled the order.
I decided to go there in person. They made my sandwich. Cashier charged me full price. I asked why, it should be half off. She explained that’s for app orders not walk-ins. The add didn’t say app order ONLY. I didn’t agree but decided to pay anyway. I had $100 bill and $13 change on me. They said they don’t take anything more then $20 bill. I had enough. I left without the sandwich.

The sprinkler was a very non friendly person with a very bad attitude. She seemed to get very annoyed because I didn’t want my sandwich her way. I asked for extra condiments and she seemed to get very annoyed by that. Well I’m paying and I have to eat it so I want it to my liking not yours. I really didn’t understand the attitude. Then she walked over to ring me up before even finishing with wrapping my sandwich and then walked away to finish sprinkling for the next customer. I entered my credit card and another person with her back to me turned around long enough to ask me if I paid. I told her yes and she walked away also. There was no thank you, no trying to upsell a drink or chips or even an offer of a bag. Wooooowwwwww!!!!!! This is a place that I would not want to return to. Ever!!!!!!!

Portions on tub (mobile) orders are hit or miss… Staff should be trained in what a full serving should look like. I go here once or twice a week and even though most times I come my order is perfect, a couple times I’ll end up with a tub that looks like a half order.. Which I don’t understand, given I order the same thing every time..
Pickup times are reasonable, food always tastes great. Should consider getting some to-go packets of vinegar.
