I love this place! I recently found out they have salad bowls. My favorite is the #9 mikes way sub so I got that in a salad bowl! Wow that was amazing! You have to try your favorite sub in a bowl it’s amazing, Definately will change it up for you.

I visited this location on the evening of 10/24 and won’t be returning. I walked in and the place was empty except for one person at a table. I was greeted when I walked in and I looked at their hanging menu (I’ve never been to a Jersey Mikes). When I was ready to order, I walked over to the hanging sign that read “ORDER HERE”. As I stood there, about 6 or 7 men working behind the counter NEVER said not even one word to me. Not even a “we will be right with you” which would have made a huge difference. Instead I stood there as 3 employees got online orders ready, others were slicing meat and others cutting stuff. I don’t understand how hard it was for them to acknowledge me? Like I said, saying “I’ll be right with you” would have been fine. I stood there for a few minutes and decided to leave since no one seemed motivated to take my order. As I left, one employee condescendingly said, “have a good night”. I went to Potbelly’s instead which had better service and probably better food!

Tried the veggie which had 2 kinds of cheese. Really good with fresh ingredients. Get it “Mike’s Way” and don’t skip the relish! And try the watermelon tea!

I can’t say I know every jersey mikes but I’ve been to a few, and this one stands out as the staff is friendly (not in a fake way). They actually enjoy working together. They take pride in the subs they make at this location.
Other sub shops grab your sub like they are sawing a piece of lumber. And when other sub shops add oils, you would think they were giving you their water from living in the desert… ROFL
No, really, if you want a good sub, make well, try out this place.

#9 club supreme the jersey mike way add banana peppers is by far a must have. This location definitely has more quality customer service than a large portion of restaurants in San Antonio

Came in today on 14th July 2025 . Initially I wanted Cava, but the power was out so they couldn’t serve . But jersey mikes was open and the grill was operational . Those dudes in there were happy enough to throw me a Philly cheese sandwhich on the grill , best part about it was it was on the house! The dedication these guys got is rare . I’ll definitely keep coming here !

I’ve been a loyal Jersey Mike’s customer for a long time, I usually place online and pick up for convenience and today was no different. I frequently visit the Bulverde and Huebner locations without any issues. However, my experience at the Hwy 281 location today was beyond disappointing.
After giving my name for my order, I was asked to show confirmation—like I was trying to steal a sandwich. Seriously? How would I even guess the name of an order placed in your store? I’ve never had to “prove” my order at any other location. It felt unnecessary, disrespectful, and frankly, laughable.
Instead of going to my usual spot, I tried this location while across town—big mistake. I won’t be making that mistake again. As I sit in the parking lot a white gentleman comes inside gets his sandwich and goes. Ha! No one asked for his sandwich id.
I’m sure by now you can guess why I was singled out. Do better, and don’t worry, I WON’T BE BACK!
