Wonderful gents to say the least about them. Thank you for being here. Thank you for doing what the subs of ways (in the photo) couldn’t. Thank you Andrew and company! Dibs on business name! lol
I cried
I was JUST in.
I ordered 2 sandwiches total, for my mother and I. Before us there were 2 gentlemen also in process of order completion. The MANAGER on the slicer was berating his employees about not taking orders properly. He then to us, the customers, goes “this is why its a problem taking multiple orders, you guys dont stay in line!”.
Bear in mind, it was only 5 sandwiches in the queue and only one person stepped out of line to fill his drink. The other sandwich artists were so compassionate to my mother and I, despite there managers actions.
6 year kitchen manager here, its NEVER the customers fault for how your handling your emotions and managing YOUR kitchen. I hope whatever your kitchen manager is going through to cause such disdain, passes soon.
And cheers to the rest of the staff keeping their heads down and powering through a horribly managed store.
If you don’t want to deal with people, in the service industry, do something else…I hate feeling burdensome to a worker, when I’m trying to exchange my money for a product or service. It’s just this store that is regularly like this. The evening crew is just miserable. And the hoodie up on your head while working just looks tacky. It’s bad enough when people are out in public with their hoodie up as a fashion statement, but completely inappropriate for a work environment.
Won’t ever come here to try and spend money again.
Also, wearing the air-pods while working directly with customers is just something I can’t get used to. Call me old fashioned, I would not allow that. And one other thing about this store, they turn off the “open” sign at 8:50 pm and make it appear to be closed, when business hours are until 9pm.
Twice I’ve arrive after work for a sandwich before closing and just turned around, knowing they were expecting to sail out at 9pm and would be perturbed if they had to make me a sandwich. I’m sure this store has much unrealized potential.
There is a different Jersey Mikes on Watson Rd just 4 miles away with better parking and a friendlier staff.
