Been here many times. Always had good food.
Today the lunch rush was in full swing when I stopped in. I was early, so waited a few min for my app order. Observed every employee working effectively and efficiently. My food was hot and delicious as expected as well as ready before the app said it would be, even though they were busy. Kudos to the Effingham team.

We came to this location for a late lunch on the weekend and they were buzzing with activity. Despite the rush, the staff treated us kindly and our sandwiches were packed with delicious meat and toppings. It was our first time here and we’ll definitely be back. The employees here are polite and helpful – great experience overall!

We came around 6:30 pm, as we traveled. The bread with the cheese was hard. My daughter talked me in to the giant subs, and it was a waste of money. I prefer the locations in the Metroeast area. We will never visit them again.

Would gives 0 stars on service If I could came in at eight twenty.They told us to hurry up and order because they were closing soon, even though they closed at 9, one of them was a very rude and overpowered the other employee…(she looked like she was missing her cigarette break and she was just there for the paycheck) she only had half of the options out for us to choose from for our sandwiches after a very rude interaction they finally produced our sandwiches. If you could call them that they we’re not worth feeding to our pigs when we got home thankfully, we were able to go to the Culver’s right down the road and they did not disappoint they had wonderful service with a smile and the food was wonderful so save yourself a hospital trip and go to Culver’s.

My experience at the Effingham Jersey Mike’s was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We arrived a full 40 minutes before the posted 9 p.m. closing time, and were immediately met with hostility from an employee who told us they were closing soon.
Her rude and unwelcoming attitude made us feel like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. We were rushed through our order, and the carelessness was reflected in the final product. Our subs were haphazardly thrown together, with ingredients poorly distributed and a stark lack of the quality Jersey Mike’s is known for. The food was a major letdown, but it was the abysmal customer service that truly ruined our evening.
If the staff is so eager to close early, they should adjust their posted hours. As it stands, there is no excuse for such a poor attitude and such a badly made order. This was a completely unsatisfactory visit, and we will not be returning.

So this place is fantastic!! It was my 1st time EVER in a Jersey Mike’s, and I had the BEST Customer Service, welcoming, friendly atmosphere, and my Big Kahuna, in a boat (as I try to stay KETO, No Bread), Mike’s Way, with the onions, peppers and oil and vinegar was to die for!!!
And, BEST OF ALL, Austin Zumbahlen, amazing friend and fellow Travel Agent, was the reason I drove 5 hours from Frankfort, KY to eat at THIS Jersey Mike’s!!! I hope the General Manager knows what a GEM you have in this guy!! He is the bomb!! I will definitely be back!!

Best subs hands down. My travel has mostly been Midwest, however my Wife is from Pennsylvania. We used to go back to visit family and that’d where I learned the difference between a sub and a “hoagie”. I’ve been searching for a “hoagie” ever since. I’ve tried all kinds of sub shops and combinations, nothing even remotely close until… I ate my very first Mike’s and got it Mike’s way!! Hands down the closest to a true blue “east coast hoagie”. Just wish we had one closer to my home town!!

Wow!! Rachel served me in the effingham store… she could not have been more kind and personable… she was knowledgeable about the menu and made my experience above and beyond anything I expected walking in to the store… it’s hard to find exceptional work ethic couple with genuine kindness!!
