They gotten a new manager in place and things are going smoothly now. Well trained employees and consistency! Vastly approaching the Best Jersey Mike’s in Billings!
I eat jersey Mikes around central MT at least 3 times a week, so I’m familiar with my order and their prices. When I entered this location and stated that I’d like a Turkey and Provolone with 2x meat and 2x cheese, the lady behind the counter said “for double meat I have to charge you for another sandwich”
To clarify I said “you mean to say to get double meat would cost an extra 10$?”
Employee “yes”
At which point I simply walked out because my brain couldn’t process this level of horrible training. Her manager should be ashamed.
During my most recent visit, I asked an employee to check on my order. I gave the name. She flipped through the receipts, asked me the name again, then walked away—saying nothing. I waited inside. No updates. Went out to my car to wait longer. Came back in, still no word. I had clearly been standing there for a while, and not a single person acknowledged me again.
Eventually, another employee told me that someone else had picked up the order, and claimed that another employee had already explained that to me—which was completely false. No one had explained anything to me at all. I was never told it had been picked up or that there was any issue. I had been waiting the entire time, getting no information, while they let the situation drag out.
I explained that in situations like this, they’re supposed to remake the order. That’s what we Dashers are instructed to request when it’s clear the food was never delivered. But the staff refused, saying they wouldn’t do anything until the customer called the store directly—which is not protocol. We represent the customer in these situations and are the ones responsible for resolving it.
As a result, I sat at this location for over 30 minutes, completely unable to earn during that time. They simply did not care.
This kind of attitude creates a bad experience for everyone—Dashers, customers, and even future drivers who will show up and face the same issue. I hope DoorDash and Jersey Mike’s management take a closer look at how this store is operating.
