Jersey Mike’s Subs in Benton Harbor, Michigan, truly delivers an incredible experience! As a Chicago native, I’ve genuinely missed my hoagies, but this place has reignited that delicious taste for me. The energy and warm atmosphere here are simply fantastic!
The food is outstanding! I’m a big fan of a well-balanced sandwich that’s juicy and packed with onions and flavor, and Jersey Mike’s Subs nails it every time. I highly recommend going for the giant sandwich—it’s perfect for anyone who wants a meal that lasts throughout the day. Plus, the portion sizes are excellent for what you pay!
The service stands out as exceptional as well. The usual guy on the meat slicer with dreads really captures the example and definition of service, and he welcomes everyone with a smile. He’s always ready to engage in conversation and offers helpful tips for creating the perfect sandwich. The rest of the staff radiate joy and are genuinely eager to assist customers.
The restaurant itself is clean and provides a great setting. With the delicious food they serve, I wouldn’t be surprised if they need to expand their seating in the future—it’s that good!
All in all, my experience at Jersey Mike’s Subs was just delightful! The value is evident, the staff is remarkable, and the food is simply irresistible!

The food is usually good. Service is not very good. They are always behind on pick up orders at least 10 or more minutes. There are a select few who are very friendly but some you can tell just don’t want to be there and don’t want to help.

Horrible experience. The tables were discusting Staff could not get the sandwich right. Very rude to customers in line. At checkout the cashier just entered their own phone number for rewards and I believe he was the manager. Ill happily go to subway or drive to another city before returning here.

Benton Harbor location is top tier! Chris is always a pleasure whether they are super busy or not. All of the staff deserves a huge shout out because they are always professional, kind, courteous, and above all… the food is always fresh and delicious. My coworkers and myself (family included) are always giving business whether we eat there personally or recommending it to travelers. This Jersey Mike’s location is one of the best I have visited and I will continue to visit and recommend them.
ALSO a huge shout out to Chris for helping my job celebrate an appreciation week and brought us all lunch!

Wish I could get my sandwich delivered on Uber Eats or Door Dash. Both UE and DD pick up right next door at KFC, but Jersey Mike’s not an option! I live 12 miles away and other local stores like KFC, Arby’s, Wendy’s and Popeyes even Applebees deliver! Please get with the Uber Eats or Door Dash Programs!!! Love these sandwiches! Help us get the delivered! Mikes Way should be my way! Ha!!

Stopped in today for the $5 sub special since the app wouldn’t let me order. Even though the place was full, the service was fast and friendly. Janelle (who rang me up) and the rest of the staff were so polite and welcoming. Loved seeing everything cut fresh right in front of me — that’s hard work and they do it well! Great experience.

I can’t judge the food or really the customer service at this location. We have went there 2 weeks in a row and both times they were out of BREAD. How does a SUB place run out of bread? Needless to stay I will not try for a 3rd time.
