Flying Cupcake
The food is always just right, now that I know what I like. Big kahuna on wheat, pretty filling and savory for 12 bucks. These days price point is important and I’ll say that sandwhicj was worth 12 bucks easy. The dudes that work here are always very friendly and attentive. They’re on task but at the same time, they’re chill. Like they have chemistry between each other and with the customers. Ive came in here before when it was completely packed and I swear I was surprised at how quick I got fed. Ive also come on there when it was totally empty and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly they were. The employees here make me think maybe ai wouldn’t mind working here. They remind me of a documentary I saw about this famous deli in NYC.
Great spot. Convenient if you’re busy but starving and need a REAL meal.

I purchased two subs from here today. I ordered a Philly chicken sub and a turkey sub with pepperoni for my granddaughter. My granddaughters sandwich was made correctly. However, I received a Philly sandwich made with steak instead of chicken. When I tried to call the establishment about the error no one answered and I called several times. Also, a couple times when I could I was disconnected. I will never purchased another sub from this establishment again.

I wish I could give service more stars.

Went in on 9-28-25 around 8pm

I dont remember the young mans name that made my order, but I ordered a gluten free sub. He asked of it was a preference or an allergy. When I told him it was an allergy he noted it down, cleaned off the service line, cleaned off any utensils he may use and made sure of no possible cross contamination. I greatly appreciate him going to the extent he did for my food it really is appreciated. This was the Ferndale location

Food is typical as any Jersey Mikes, so good. However the customer service is lackluster to say the least. Online orders are always behind the promise time and they can’t even give you a decent ETA if you try to call and check over the phone.

Ordered 3 subs for pick up today, 2 of 3 were made incorrectly. Not a huge deal, but the person who I spoke with on the phone when trying to get them replaced was combative and insistent that he made them correctly, which he did not. He then said he would only remake the subs I brought back to him, which one was thrown away. No apology, terrible customer service. Disappointing since we usually have a great experience there.

Placed an order for 2 sandwiches, one gluten free. Upon going to receive the order which had been pre-paid we were told they could not fulfill the order nor give us confirmation of a refund. Sloppy customer service and unacceptable business practice. It’s understandable for mistakes to be made but to not be able to rectify it on the spot with an immediate refund is terrible. We will not frequent this location anymore and will advise all others to avoid it as well.

Our company was hosting a staff meeting last week and placed a timed order for a pick up between 645 and 7pm. Our manager showed up at this location at 645, and then had to wait for a legitimate hour and a half until 815 for the food to be ready. He was able to arrive at our staff meeting a full hour after it was scheduled to start, severely holding up 20 people’s evenings. Not cool jersey mikes!

This location is amazing. Employee’s are very knowledgeable and really help me out with making an allergy safe sandwich!! Celiac Disease & Lactose Intolerant so I always get the club sub with gluten free bread and no cheese. Thank you Jersey Mikes!!!!!

Went in today to get a sandwich around 2:40pm. The vibes were instantly uncomfortable as no music or any sound was playing in the restaurant, but that is the least of my concerns.

During the time it took to have my sandwich prepared, a tall bald man I am assuming is the GM or some type of management was busy yelling at and berating the employees over a mistake that had been made last night. At first they were all standing in the main area being talked down to and yelled at, but presumably when the manager noticed there were guests in the building, he took everyone right around the corner (taking the employee working on meals away from his job, but I digress), well within earshot, and began berating them again. It was not constructive, it was embarrassing, and as a person who has worked management jobs many times, this person is clearly unable to manage staff effectively. I am deeply concerned about his behavior and if I were being talked to like that I would have quit on the spot. If you are an employee reading this, please quit and find other employment. You deserve respect and that clown does not deserve your hard work.

The food was good by the way, despite the same manager stating that the food “pissed him off” while inches from an employee’s face as he was trying to help us.

Will not be returning and you should be embarrassed to have this person working for the company.

10/16/25 1pm Ordered a club HOT and a giant jersey mike’s. Took forever to get waited on. Club not hot so they remade. This time they made a turkey with provolone instead of a club. Too much taking to each other not enough listening to customers. Just total bad experience. I just took the turkey sandwich because I didn’t have time to wait for a third sandwich. After they were finished they left sandwiches on counter I had to ask for them to give me my food. Of course my hot sandwich was no longer hot.
This is not the usual service when the boys are working it’s on point, but this combination of worker don’t work well together.
