When I was there, this one employee was standing by the grill on her phone and the two ladies on the line was working a full lobby and the one younger asked if she was going to help and the older one said no she never does. Let me just say that if you have four people working and only two are doing their job and the lobby is packed you would think the others would help but no she stayed there scrolling on her phone like she could careless. In my opinion as a past manager I would not let this fly in my store.

I was very disappointed in the Jersey Mike’s on university. I ordered a Portobello cheesesteak. When I got home, I found no steak and Just a mushroom or two. I can’t imagine how this mistake could happen because the sandwich doesn’t match a cheesesteak or a veggie sandwich based upon the contents shown in the photograph.

I ordered the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak, which was hot, delicious, and delivered fast. However, the overall atmosphere was noticeably subdued. The entire staff was silent, offering no smiles or greetings—it was as if everyone was having a very bad day. While not a major issue, it made for a strange, awkward visit. The total for my regular sandwich, medium drink, and chips came to $16.72, which felt higher than expected. To top it off, I was unpleasantly surprised when the payment screen automatically prompted me for a tip. I reserve my tipping for sit-down service, and I’m now actively avoiding quick-service establishments that use these tip-screen requests. I won’t return due to the tipping prompt.

Absolutely loved the energy there, friendly, and very helpful, I went with a few friends and we was helped fast and efficiently. The team there has got to be the best I’ve seen in this store. And as always the sandwiches are never not good, absolutely love the cbr! Will always come here!

I’m a frequent visitor at Jersey mikes on University in Huntsville Alabama . Tonight just grossed me out. Leeann is a very sweet women. I’ve seen her in there before and she has prepared my sandwich’s fine. Idk if tonight is a bad night or she’s intoxicated but, while preparing my sandwich several things I notice cause me to walk out while she was making it. First she seemed out of it and second I asked for double meat, she didn’t do it. Next the board where sandwiches are prepared was not wiped prior to placing mine on it which the board was saturated in VINEGAR! The phone rings. While I understand she may still have to answer calls for work while at work, there was no change in gloves! She touch the phone then MADE MY SANDWICH! Then pulled her personal phone out to call her boss. Again I understand all of this but she’s touching MY FOOD WITH THE SAME GLOVES! Not to mention I specifically asked for no juices. She wasn’t paying attention added it anyway. I corrected her and she scraped off the saturated lettuce then proceeded to try and somehow wipe away the juice with the same gloves. If you don’t believe me run the camera back at 8:30 pm on this day! Again she’s a sweet women and deserves to keep her job. Perhaps maybe food safety refreshers as I’ve been in the restaurant industry myself prior to my legal profession.

This was the best service I’ve ever had at a JM! The staff was extremely friendly! Leann and Are was awesome and did a great job of making sure my sandwich was just how I wanted! The store was clean and the other staff was friendly also.

Was my first time in there, and the man making my food (I think his name was Derek) was so kind and helpful. He made sure all my questions was answered, he also made sure to clean everything since I do have a pork allergy, so I greatly appreciate it. I would and will be back again!!

During my visit to Jersey Mike’s the other day, I observed that certain staff members were treated differently than others, creating noticeable tension in the workplace. It was disheartening to see some of the hardest-working employees not receiving the respect and fairness they deserve. Due to this experience, I have decided not to return.
