Not the subs, JM is the best…But the employees at THIS LOCATION! I’ve been to this location dozens of times and have always been met with the same rude, lazy staff and normally let it fly. This time, like hundreds of times before, I asked for my son’s turkey sub to be heated. Just the meat, because of his immune system. I was told it was only for pregnant women and they would be fired other wise…all I needed was bread and heated turkey. Nothing else….just 12.00 for bread and turkey slices. He doesn’t eat condiments.
To save them from loosing their job, I said I was pregnant. I was called a liar since it was originally for my son and that they would not be heating it….SMH…I explained he has to have it heated and it was discriminatory in nature and asked for a little grace. Assistant manager chimed in and said I could take it home and heat it if I wanted…(I was headed to the boat ramp like we do every time we take the boat out)
I’m a guy and no I am not pregnant, Stevie wonder could see that! I was in hopes they wouldn’t “loose their jobs” over doing a little task that’s been done dozens of times there and at other Jersey Mikes.
I have always gone to JM because of his needs…This location is a disgrace and as much as I tried to explain logic to their stance, I realized they were not in a position to listen or even entertain other views. Argumentative and prideful in their stance. I offered to Tip better at checkout and assistant manager remained argumentative and that it was Jersey Mike Policy…if that’s the policy of Jersey Mikes, I have just made my last trip….
