Tonight I finally wore out my welcome at my usual hot spot Mickey-Ds when Jake ran me off with a, “SCRAAAM bro. It’s a strict TWO sauce limit on all combos! Either pay the 35 cent upcharge, or get outta here.” I guess Nancy on day shift had watched me get a third sweet and sour sauce for free one too many times, so my name was on the no sauce list.

Anywho. Ten minutes before closing, I decided to mosey on down to the Jersey Mike’s instead, so I could stick it to the corporate fat cats and snag myself some free bacon. It was the end of day and there was a 14 inch tall bin of bacon looking all crispy and delicious. Just perfect . I ordered a regular combo numero siete (turkey), Mike’s Way, grabbed some chips and a drink, punched in my rewards, and left a generous tip. After paying I was like, “Why don’t chu put a little bacon on that bad boy since you got so much left.” Brad behind the register (I don’t know his real name, but he looked like a Brad), was like, “You can’t just waltz in here and get free bacon budd-ay. It’s gonna be an extra charge.” I’ll tell you what, you can’t get NOTHING extra for free in this town. Mike would be proud.

I’ll admit, I was a bit disappointed. The whole drive home, I thought of that bacon. But it’s what I get for thinking being a rewards member and leaving a tip was gonna get me a freebie extra. Brad is buckin’ for management, and you just KNOW those cameras are pointed right at the bacon bin. Can’t take chances. I get it.

Enough of that. The sandwich. The bread was “okay,” but what do you expect at the end of the day. I’m sure midday bread was fresher. Not bad though, just not fresh-out-of-the-oven good. The lettuce was lettuce. The turkey was spot on (although they weren’t as liberal with the portions as other locations). The tomatoes were a bit subpar if I’m being honest. You ever have one of those deep red, ripe, juicy, tomatoes on a good backyard burger during the summertime? It was the opposite of that. I love tomatoes, but I ended up picking them off. Here’s a picture. The sandwich is gone, so it obviously wasn’t bad, but the tomatoes were mid. 4 out of 5 stars overall. Fresh tomatoes and bacon and it would have been a solid 5.

Keep holding it down Brad. Respect.

I picked up a sub on my lunch break. The staff was friendly & moved with purpose which allowed me plenty of time to eat on break. I appreciate that so much because some restaurants have staff moving at a more liesurely pace & I’m pressed to finish before I have to return to work. My sandwich was fresh & tasty & enjoyed! I will definitely return to this location & recommend it to others.

The reason I am give Jersey Mike’s 1 star for food because it made me and friend sick to our stomaches. The meat didn’t smell, not sure if cross contamination or what. Don’t know if the veggies on the sub was bad or what. Please be careful

Very impressed with the young man making my sandwich. Very professional and good at his job. He actually listened, I did not have to repeat 5 times how I wanted the sandwich. Seems like nowadays, you have to repeat your order 5 times because kids just are not paying attention…and they still get it wrong. Good job, refreshing to see people take pride in their work!

We love Jersey mikes, stopped in for our usual cheesesteak. The bread was not toasted and it was soooo soggy. Unenjoyable. Staff was nice

I always feel welcome here. I was nervous because its my very first time going to a place on my own, but they never made me feel stupid. The food is always so good and they’re always so willing to help with customizations. Absolutely recommend!

Visited on 6-5-25 at 830pm. The food was really good and fresh. But the service was awesome. Very friendly staff. Very thoughtful and even came out to tell us they were closing and asked if we needed refills before he shut the door. That’s above and beyond the normal for this type restaurant. This crew was awesome.
