Started off great when the owner was in shop. Slowly decreased in quality for value & definitely in customer service. I’d only get good service & quality if there was 1 particular person working on the grill. Then they completely removed the #64 (only hot all-veggie sub). We went from going 1-2 times per week to 0 in just 6 months.

They’re already starting off on the wrong foot! I ordered a tuna sub and I swear there was no tuna on the sandwich what so ever. I paid $10 for bread, lettuce and tomato. I’d rather travel an extra 30 minutes to Henderson before I step foot back into this establishment.

Just left Jersey Mike’s in South Hill. Zero customers & employees were standing around talking while what to looked to be a days worth or food smashed into the floor in their work area. Ordered a large combo with fountain drink & chips. Tuna on wheat with provolone & bacon / light mustard. Grabbed my cup, got a drink & sat down eating my chips while I waited. Was handed my food & paid for it with a tip. As I was about to start eating the guy who made my sandwich swatted some flys off the glass in front of the prep station & said “I got 2” to the lady standing behind him. I put my sub on the counter & asked for a refund. As you can see from the receipt he didn’t refund for the cheese, bacon or tip. He said- “you don’t get a refund for what you ate” / meaning the chips & drink. I asked if thought it was ok to swat flys over food & informed him I didn’t get a full refund even for my sub…… he just looked at me as if I was the problem. Stay away unless you like a Lil extra crunchy flavor. If you look at the bottom of the receipt he put “idk” ……. should have put “bwan”= because we were nasty.

Husband has been several times and they treat him like he’s stupid when he’s trying to ask for sandwiches and we have noticed that The amount of meat is getting less and there’s more lettuce. The sandwiches are smaller. Seems like the changes occurred when new ownership started.

My husband and children waited five minutes before any of the FIVE employees behind the counter (who saw my family) even acknowledged them to take their order. The unfortunate part is once my children were in there my husband couldn’t leave since my kids actually like Jersey Mike’s. The guy who’s actually made the sandwiches was new and didn’t know what he was doing (which is also fine – except that no one was trying to show him how course correct).
Due to service alone – I’d not recommend this location. The food itself is standard. You know what you’re getting.

Jersey Mike’s Subjust opened up in South Hill, Va. I am so glad to have a quality sub place in the area. The shop was crowded, but there was outstanding customer service with great care given to each order. The customers were patiently waiting, and it was a good atmosphere inside. I highly recommend you check out Jersey Mike’s Subs.

Kids screaming to the point that kitchen staff came out to see what was going on. But nothing was said to patron ruining everyone’s evening. Ordered 2 regular subs and BOTH were wrong! 20+ dollars on food that was terrible. Ordered an original Italian (all slimy ham and nothing else) and a chipotle chicken cheese steak that wound up being a regular cheese steak (beef). Just sad that an order this small got messed up so bad!

they have nice service but only in south hill jersey mikes ..make you feel you got taken …they dont even load it up with meat …nn they dont even know how season nn its just taste like it was made with no love ..dont waste your money
