Tried a cold sub for the first time and asked for it Mikes way( no tomato)..the sandwich was dry as ever..so I really didn’t enjoy it. The girl that worked tonight was very professional and nice. A guy with dreads seem like he was upset that I asked him to change his gloves after seeing him make someone else’s sandwich and then ring them up all with the same gloves on. Overall this visit was just ok, I could’ve had better at subway.

I visited this Owings Mills Jersey Mikes location yesterday on 11/24/25 and ordered three sandwiches. I politely asked for pickles on the side, but the employee did not acknowledge my request. When I asked, ‘Did you get the pickles?’—which was a calm and respectful question—he responded sarcastically, saying, ‘I’m only one person, I have ten fingers and ten toes,’ and also, ‘I’m standing right in front of you.’ This may have been a miscommunication, but he never actually acknowledged that he heard my request.

Up until this pickle incident, the young man, who had gold teeth, glasses, and tattoos on his hands and neck, was making my sandwiches well and I had no issues with his service. The sandwiches were great, but the customer service is not worth the disrespect I experienced.

His tone and attitude after the pickle question were unprofessional and completely uncalled for. He also threw a marker toward a coworker across the counter, which made me uncomfortable and felt inappropriate.

I want to make it clear that I was not rude in any way. I simply asked a question because my request wasn’t acknowledged.

This isn’t the first time I’ve noticed similar disrespectful attitudes from staff, and many times I feel like I’m walking on eggshells when I come in. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location.

I’m bringing this to everyone’s attention because no customer should be treated this way, and I hope this situation is addressed. Food quality is extremely important but customer service is just as paramount for a thriving business and they’ve lost mine because of 0/10 customer service.

Today I had the most horrible experience at Jersey Mike’s Owings Mills. The manager was rude and obnoxious. All I wanted was more onions and ranch on my sandwich. He ignored me asking him three times then he got mad and told me to make it myself while his two female staff members laughed. When I asked for his name, he refused to tell me. I then asked for the manager and he replied, I am the manager. I then asked for corporate information and he refused to give that to me as well. Dumped a whole bunch of ranch on my sandwich and I asked for a refund and left the store. I will never go to that location again as long as he works there. Corporate needs to know about him and I will make sure of that.

I saw many reviews stating the service was bad or slow. I did not experience this.

I was greeted with a “hello” when I entered. I noticed everyone who entered was greeted

The sandwich service was quick considering they fresh cut the meats right in front of you.

I was not in love with the sandwich, but it was not bad either. Overall my experience was good.

I will not that the bathroom was clean and obviously checked often. I will definitely try them again and choose different sandwiches. I’m not generally big on subs, so I am a bit biased trying to find sub contents I like.

Update April 2025 excellent service! Day and night from Pikesville location. I was greeted as soon as I came into the store. The condiments station was extremely clean and neat everything looked fresh lettuce tomatoes and onions please note the photos. Bravo to this location’s Staff and Management very friendly atmosphere The young lady who rang me up was very pleasant everyone was busy working. So the food was great but my only issue was that the young female cashier was rude yesterday evening and I had two gift cards to pay she gave me attitude, ripped up the cards and on my receipt it only took off the 4 dollars change from one card, it didn’t take off the 10 dollars on the other gift card I handed her that she ripped up. I wanted to say something but they were busy and she was rude I didn’t want to talk to her again. The two making food were professional

I have had Jersey Mike’s from other locations and they were always GREAT! NOT at this location. The young guy making the sub basically didn’t talk just looked blankly at me.(It seemed as though he didn’t want to be bothered) I ordered a salami and provolone sub with lettuce. When I got home I opened my sandwich and it was a couple slices of salami. I have worked in the hospitality industry for years, this owner needs to hire people who want to work and make sandwiches that are Jersey Mikes quality! Not going back to this location!

My husband and I visit this location a once or twice every few weeks for a light quick dinner. The service is usually decent at best, the staff is always young teenagers with little to no adult supervision in a management role they seem as though they don’t like their jobs. My husband went to pick us up a quick meal and we were disappointed with our subs. I kept mine simple turkey but the bread was literally falling apart crumbly not as fresh and soft. My husband order was completely wrong. He ordered a chciken cheese steak and was given a beef cheese steak which was over dressed and had grease leaking out. He had to leave the house to go back. The staff at this location tried to tell my husband what he received was chicken and the dark color was because of the grill my husband said no way its chicken. No chicken is ever dark and if it thr grill is super dirty which its not good! The staff just stared at my husband as if he was going to leave. My husband ended up getting a turkey sub made in place of wring order. Not the greatest experience at all probably our last time at this location. It’s amazing how the Ellicott city location they are friendly inviting with the customer service and subs are great. Get some pointers from them and get managers to supervise properly!!
