when I order from Jersey Mike’s, I order a regular cheesesteak on wheat bread, x meat, x cheese, light fried onions, mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, and dill pickles. On Friday 8/8/2025 I called in my order and had them read it back to me. When I got there the worker was preparing it. I thought that I saw peppers on my sub. when I asked he told me no, when I got home and unwrapped it, the sub had green and red peppers on it that I told them that I did not want.This is the second time that I had to go through this with the Dover branch. The first time I caught it and had them remake it. On 8/9/2025 I will be returning the sub to either get my money back or have my sub remade. I could see if it was a mistake, but I get the same thing every time I go there. This is poor service! They should hire people who care about what the customer orders and not what the employee want to put on the order. Please address this issue because I am a paying customer and deserves proper service. I have pictures.

food is almost as disappointing as the staff and the staff are in desperate need of new management and mandatory training. Honestly don’t get me wrong I love jersey mike’s but not the one in Dover.I walked into the store for the first time at 6pm and was completely ignored. No one took my order, yet they took other people’s orders ahead of me without even looking to see who was next. I will never come back again.
The young girl Justine, along with another employee whose name I couldn’t catch, were extremely rude. During the morning and afternoon the service is tolerable, but once it hits around 7 PM, the attitudes change completely. After coming in from a long shift, the last thing anyone wants to deal with is disrespectful teenagers with no customer service skills. If you see a young Black African girl named Justine, stay away—she is incredibly unprofessional. And let’s not forget the hygiene issues: no glove changes, touching everything, not washing hands, and constantly touching their hair and face. It’s honestly disgusting. This will most likely be my last time coming here.

We love the sandwiches from here. My only suggestion would be a better system for picking up orders. I have come in on several occasions and just stood at the register waiting for someone to acknowledge me and give me my order. I order and pay for my orders on the app, so it should be a quick process.

I tried calling ahead to order 2 cheesesteaks like I do at the camden location often. When I called the dover location I was put on hold I stayed on the phone on hold for my entire 11 minute drive. Upon arrival there were 5 employees standing around the counter playing on their phones and only two people in the store that looked like they were almost done with their food. I asked why they put me on hold since they werent busy and they said they didnt even though I was still on hold on my phone and theirs. The food was lacking compared to the camden location overall bad experience I should have just left without getting food after being on hold. I won’t come back.

This was my first experience at Jersey Mike’s. I ordered take away a Turkey sub, it was amazing! They offer vegan options, as well as gluten free products. This store is clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. This store was packed, however the lines were orderly and moved quickly. I am a loyal Capriotti’s Gurl, this was a delightful culinary experience.

I never thought I would be writing a review about a place like this, but my experience today definitely warrants the time. The weather was nasty and I had a lot going on at work. It was going to spend the next 5 hours standing outside, freezing, in the snow and wasn’t looking forward to it. When I walked in Sean asked me how I was doing. I didn’t respond with something positive and he noticed. He turned his full attention to me, explained how the menu works and had a GREAT attitude in the face of my poor one. It was the small things…his friendly smile, professional demeanor, and attentiveness to his customer. How can you keep being aggravated when someone is being so nice? Then he sent me over the edge, just because I was having a crappy day, he bought my lunch! This is customer service! This is professionalism! This is how you want every manager and employee to act. Thanks Sean- you turned the day around.

I’m unsure if every Jersey Mike’s is the same way, but these guys are amazing. Whoever manages this place, Jersey Mike’s can’t afford to lose them. You’re sure to be greeted with a smile; each staff member is happy to help and hard at work. The store is always clean, food is great, fresh and fast. I didn’t know they cut all the meats fresh to order, but man, it fresh and good. Definitely beats out Capriottis, subway and any other sub shop around. It’s rare to find a place ran like these guys anymore.

This was my very first time visiting a Jersey Mike’s, and I walked into the Dover, DE location not knowing what to expect or even where to go. The moment I stepped in, all four staff members went above and beyond to make sure I received the best service possible.
Right away, they welcomed me with smiles and playful energy. I was jokingly told I had to choose which of the four should make my sandwich. Nicollette proudly claimed she was ranked 5th in the company, so she was clearly the top pick. Zayir, Vaughn, and Jacob jumped in with fun banter, all claiming to be the best sandwich makers around. When asked who I wanted to make my sub, I said, “Well, I’ve got to stick with the lady, girl code!”
Let me tell you this team didn’t just offer great customer service; they made me feel seen, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated. And that sandwich? Absolutely off-the-hook AMAZING.
I also had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Fred, who was just as awesome and clearly leads a fantastic team.
