Jenny at Jersey Mike’s on Springwood road went above and beyond in her service. I had made the mistake of making an online order and sent it to her store instead of the store I wanted it to go to. I cancelled the order, but had some issues getting the refund. Jenny was there every step of the way to make things right and made me feel like an important customer. Great job! Lately, we haven’t had much luck at this location as far as order accuracy but I’ve continued to give Jersey Mike’s another shot time after time again just to be let down and annoyed. Let me explain… yesterday November 8th my wife and mom are coming back from a trip and decide to stop in to bring us all something to eat since we spent the day with our Gigi. All of this was paid for through an app and under my mom’s name. They get to us, we grab our labeled sandwiches and leave to go home. Once we got home my wife noticed that her sandwich was wrong and unfortunately had to eat it because she had been traveling all day and needed something so she didn’t have to cook. My wife being not satisfied, called through the app and let the lady over the phone know what happened and she was told to give her name when she or I came in so her sandwich can be made the way is was supposed to on the following day since it was late. (we’ve been through this process before.) Today, November the 9th. I got to the store, told them why I was there (also to pick up another or I placed on the way) and everyone immediately shot me down stating that “we’re not giving you the sandwich due to that not being our protocol. And that you should’ve been mailed vouchers” yes, I have been given vouchers before and I’ve always had been given the option to go in the next day and retrieve the sandwich by name of the person who contacted the store. While there I was sent a screen shot of the order because my mother wasn’t there with the app, I gave the name the order was under so it could be looked up in the system, I gave my wife’s name since she was the one who contacted the store and nothing could be done. I was blatantly told that we get a lot of scammers and we’re not giving you what you originally ordered. (I also don’t like being lied to in my face about what can and can’t be done because we’ve been through this a couple of times) So I’m pissed already because the whole reason why I went back in the first place was to pick up the sandwich that was originally messed up…then I got my order… walked out frustrated and annoyed, got home, and realized that my sandwich I ordered today was WRONG. Freaking icing on the cake I tell you… I won’t be coming back any time soon.

My mother and I went there for lunch today. When we walked in there was about 7-8 people behind the counter all just talking to each other and then a lady just standing at the cashier. No one paid us any attention. I asked the lady at the register how we were to put our order in and she ignored me twice. Then finally another worker says “I’m cleaning right now, I’ll get to you when I’m done” that was after about ten minutes of silence and being ignored. I guess the other 7 workers couldn’t take orders. So we stand there for another 10 minutes while he wiped counters and the lady at the cash register and another employee talked about us and laughed. Extremely unprofessional. Every single employee was rude and unprofessional. I recorded most of it. Definitely won’t be back and definitely will be posting the video.

I ordered Ultimate Toasted Italian sub, add hot peppers. I got a cold, untoasted sub with no bacon or hot peppers and only one type of cheese, menu states 2. It is less than 6″ long. Unbelievable that you charge 12.48 for this! When I called back the manager on duty said there was nothing he could do about it except put my name on the board for a free sub. Well since I don’t have a car that’s not going to do me any good because I can’t get to the Springwood Road location and it certainly did not help me with the cold gross food that I got for my dinner. I regularly go in to the one in East York and have never had an issue, everything’s always great! But for whatever reason doordash decided to use this other location.

Staff seemed into their job, but the place could use a good cleaning. Our table struck up a whole conversation with strangers about the film and grit on everything.
Food prep was clean, and that’s really what I care about.

Why would you even waste your time on such a suboptimal sub or sandwich with basically no meet (cheesesteaks) for literally $20 for the giant size. Dont waste your money here as places like this should just fold. You could get two pizzas for the price of a giant sub that barely would even feed one person. Go to your local deli go literally anywhere else.
