A sandwich is a sandwich is a sandwich but definitely not good there. What’s the big rave about. Subway dues it better and doesn’t ignore their customers. When you go to order you have to wait while they fill online orders or whatever they are doing. The place is packed not necessarily because the sandwiches are great it is because they ignore you waiting there to order. I had to ask at least 3-4 times can I make my order❓ When I started to walk out then they called me back to take my order. The sandwiches are nothing to rave about. A veggie sandwich had one piece of pepper and some lettuces or whatever . Never again. Subway is times better. They are also rude ignoring the customers coming in waiting on line. They pretend they can’t hear you asking them if you can place your order. Bye, bye Sandwich Mike or whatever you call yourself.

My family and I have been loyal customers of Jersey Mike’s for over six years. Our parents and extended family have always enjoyed and supported this location. Unfortunately, due to recent and repeated experiences, we have decided that we will no longer be visiting this store. During multiple visits, my family and I have witnessed the store manager, he’s tall Spanish guy looks Mexican I think, he consistently speaks to employees in a rude, aggressive, and disrespectful manner. The way he addresses staff appears verbally harsh and demeaning. It is visibly clear that his behavior causes distress, frustration, and discomfort among the employees. We have observed him raising his voice and treating staff in a way that we believe is inappropriate for someone in a leadership position. We strongly feel that this behavior creates a hostile work environment and reflects poorly on the values Jersey Mike’s represents. Because of this, our family intends to contact corporate to formally report our concerns about this man. We wholeheartedly believe that employees deserve to be treated with respect, and that this individual’s conduct amounts to bullying. We are disappointed to reach this decision after being long-term supporters of Jersey Mike’s, but we feel it is important to speak up about what we have witnessed.

I drive an extra distance to patronize the Jersey Mike’s location in the Shop Rite shopping center in Spotswood, NJ. It’s the best Jersey Mike’s location in New Jersey because of one thing; The best people to ever serve up a delicious meal. A special shout out to Sebastian for always going above and beyond the call of duty to treat me like a cherished customer. I’m grateful to him and the entire staff!

At the Jersey Mike’s in Spotswood NJ, Sunday morning the store is supposed to open at 10am, 10:20am and 2 guys in store haven’t unlocked the door yet. I had to bang on the door and finally they opened for me. No greeting or hello or good morning. After a few minutes one of fhe guys tells me there is no tuna so another 15 minutes to make it. I ordered online thru doordash so I had no choice as Doordash has no ez refund or cancelation. Can’t count on places opening on time and service anywhere these days, including Jersey Mike’s, highly disappointing and won’t be ordering from them again any time soon, oh yeah guy gave me a free soda cup for my trouble and when i went to fill it, the machine wasnt turned on so the kid told me how to turn it on and i had to do it myself, amazing!! And not to mention the new “White salami”?? In my sandwich (on the right)

I am a regular here but I now have accepted I need to stop visiting this Jersey Mike’s in Spotswood NJ. I initially planned to stop going because of one specific employee—an older man who has POOR customer service and messes up orders constantly. He once said the bread was too hot to properly cut and thought I should take a sandwich with HOLES in the bread because he could not properly cit the bread. He tried twice and said “it is what is is”—I walked out. Today a young male wiyn somewhat curly black hair made my sandwiches. He was very light handed and put VERY little toppings. I had to ask for more and he had an attitude!! We didn’t eat the sandwiches until tonight (went at 10:30 a.m.). ALL of them were mis-labeled!! Onions and peppers were on one, BUT it was wrong! Thankfully, my daughter did mot bite i to the sandwich with onions because she is allergic!! Furthermore. a turkey sandwich was labeled as a veggie sandwich!! I really did not want to leave a bad review because most of the female employees are super nice and work really hard. However, I was left with no choice today! If my daughter bit into the sandwich with the onions we would have been in the ER tonight! There used to be a young gentleman with red hair always working there. Once he left and moved out of state, this Jersey Mike’s was never the same!

I previously wrote about the workers being rude and ignoring customers who wait to order they look at you and pretend they may be hearing the wind blow and they don’t see you when I started to leave they called me back take our order my husband’s veg sandwich was a few onions one lettuce one large pepper cute my sandwich was nothing to rave about my second review is because I left something out table we ate out was dirty. Dirty table, crappy sandwiches , rude workers pretending they can’t hear or see you . Go to Subway good filled sandwichs and guess what they don’t ignore you .

On Sunday, September 28th 2025, I ordered a catering box which feeds 12 along with a Giant Sandwich to be picked up at 1pm. When I arrived and inquired about my order I was advised that someone took it from the Uber/Doordash pick up area. I couldn’t believe it. I was told that I can get my refund or return in an hour. I made further inquiry as to how it was possible for just anyone to enter the restaurant and grab an order without being questioned or providing any details. I was given a blank stare.
I returned in an hour only because my daughter wanted the sandwiches, in which it was evident that the order was rushed because the sandwiches were sloppy and wrapped improperly.
I will not be returning, you have been forewarned.
