Jersey Mike’s, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with more than 2,500 locations open and under development nationwide, has a long history of community involvement and support. Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s serves authentic East Coast-style subs on fresh baked bread – the same recipe it started with over 60 years ago. The company’s mission is to bring its customers the highest quality, freshest made sub in the industry and give back to the communities in which it operates.

Jersey Mike’s Subs is proudly rooted in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, where it all began before franchising took off and grew into the brand we know today with over 3,000 locations nationwide. They even tapped NJ legend Danny DeVito as their first celebrity spokesperson, which feels perfectly on brand.
We stopped by the POINT PLEASANT flagship location to grab some subs and were pleasantly surprised to find dog friendly outdoor tables.
The subs come in multiple sizes and are made with freshly baked bread, high-quality meats, and crisp veggies. We are big fans of ordering them “Mike’s Way” with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oil, vinegar, and spices. Choose from their signature recipes or build your own exactly how you like it.
For a quick and easy visit, order ahead on the app or website and pick up inside. Be sure to check your local location for outdoor seating availability.

Shout out to the employee who saved that women’s life when he found a note that she had left in the restroom back on May 27th, 2025. That employee definitely deserves a raise for doing the right thing!!! The world could definitely use a lot more people like him.

Ate here recently and reminded me why it is a solid choice. Everything fresh and overall great experience. My only negatives have been during the Summer weekend craziness when it can be very busy and you may wait longer than you expect but I am not going to complain about that. I am glad they are busy.

Jersey Mike’s Subs in Point Pleasant Beach is hands-down the best spot for a fresh, authentic sub on the Jersey Shore. Their bread is always baked in-house and super soft, and the meats are sliced right in front of you—love the #13 Original Italian piled high with all the fixings. The staff is friendly and efficient, even during the summer rush when lines get long. Clean shop, quick service, and those rosemary parm chips are addictive. Perfect for a beach day grab-and-go!

Every time I go in there the staff looks at me very awkwardly. It’s as if they’ve never seen a black man before. It’s a very prejudice feeling and vibe going there. The staff and owner there could benefit from an inclusion class. It’s as if they’ve never seen are waiting for me to steal something or be unnecessarily vulgar and incensed. I don’t believe I’ll be patronizing this establishment anymore. I get a sense they prefer the patrons that look more like them, I have no problems with that.

Stopped in for some food during a road trip, and what I can assume was the manager micromanaging the girls on how to stack lettuce and onions?? On a piece of bread while filming on the new recording glasses. Made for a really awkward vibe and felt bad for the employee. Good food though

Not a great experience for me today and Ive finally decided that i can no longer give my dolars to JM. Slicer got my order incorrect…kept asking me what size after I told him twice and then included fatty roast beef on my sub. When i told him i didnt want that, he didnt respond. Hoping he heard me I paid went home only to discover fat all over my sub. I returned and asked for my $ back. 6 employees standing there, no one said “hey sorry about that. also, a huge joke is that they actual think the amount of meat they put on your sub is sufficient. Ive put up with that for too long! Jersey Mike’s subs used to be more generous, but now is simply a rip off! I live east of the canal on the farthest street east in the boro and I will take the longer trip to Colonial market anyday for a sub that’s several dollars less and with far more meat on it.

Oblivious High schooler poured so much of “the juice” on there that the sandwich was soaking wet a minute after getting it. Before I could stop him, it was in a pool of the stuff. Was nearly inedible, and I like the juice on there
In this case, he just didn’t pay attention and kept going — but wouldn’t be a bad idea to train employees to ask if they want light, regular, or heavy (or something to that affect). Mine was beyond even a heavy, and just ruined the eating experience
Will try it again in future though, and if customer service/prep is better, I will improve rating

This was my first time at this location, and it was an incredible experience! I ordered a regular Italian sub and was asked if I wanted to add chips or a drink while I was paying, but I politely declined. The manager, or at least I assume he was, heard my response and generously offered me a drink on the house! It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me, and I truly appreciated it. A great example of leadership, loving what you do, and wanting your customers to have an amazing experience at your restaurant. The staff was fantastic—very kind, attractive, and respectful gentlemen! I’ll definitely be returning when I’m down the shore again!
