It’s ok since Tastee sub is no longer in the area. The only issue I have is cleanliness. The lady handling the meat went over to help the girl at the register touching the screen with the gloves, returned to touching the meat without changing the gloves. That is not clean and should be addressed. I do not feel comfortable eating here if that standard is not updated with your staff. Please change your gloves if you are going to touch money, screens, buttons etc..

This location is the worst. My coworkers and I used to go to the Princeton location. Even though access and traffic to get there was always difficult, we went because the sandwiches were pretty good for the price. We were thrilled to hear this location was opening up much closer to our work. After trying the Lawrenceville location a few times, (we gave them the benefit of the doubt as a new location) we have all since decided to never go there again unless they are running some kind of promotion that makes it worth it. You get 1/2 of the meat there that you get at any other location, unless you want to pay another $3 for extra meat. Why are the ends (if not the entire roll) always stale if they are baked in house? This isn’t the case at any other locations we will still go to. I used manage a popular food franchise location many years ago. This location being run as is, will not survive. There is a value vs dollar limit that every consumer has. If 2 franchised locations have different standards (which they ABSOLUTELY should not), the franchise location that best satisfies that consumer’s value/dollar ideal will be the one to survive. The attached photo is an Italian hoagie from a different company franchise 3min away from this store. At every one of their locations, the sandwich is exactly the same as the other locations and only 10.99. Definitely not still hungry after eating a 1/2 of this. Maybe the new year will bring a new philosophy to the franchise owners of this location.

Stopped by Jersey Mike’s this evening and had an awesome experience. The assistant manager Susy was super friendly and really made me feel welcome. The place was really clean too, which I definitely noticed. And the sub? So good — fresh, tasty, and made just right. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I almost never review chains or fast food restaurants. But I felt compelled to let the owner know what a good experience I had at this location today 7/16/25 around 3:30 PM. The two young men who were working there were attentive, friendly, professional, and seemed genuinely Interested and content in what they were doing. So I commend the owner because obviously these people were very well trained, but I also believe that these kids are going above and beyond because they take pride in what they do in general. Also, the Sandwich was just what I expected as usual And the place was very clean. Keep up the good work!

I am gluten free and the workers stopped everything they were doing to change gloves, wipe everything down, put a tray out, and make sure that my gluten free sub didn’t touch anything else. I was so impressed, especially because they were so busy. So happy with the service here!

Just for context, I have to state that I’m in my 50’s and am from Brooklyn NY. So it’s still fairly shocking to me the price of a full size sub these days. SEVENTEEN-DOLLARS??? Holy crap! I have to wait till pay day to go there. But that being said, they are very tasty. The server/preparer was very friendly. And it was an overall good experience…. except for having to choose between paying my rent and getting a turkey and cheese.

Stopped by for a sandwich because it was convenient and I love sub sandwiches. I got an Italian sub and it was skimpy on the meat, bread was so so, not real soft and fresh. $10 for a half sub is just not a value in my mind. I can get a whole sub with plenty of meat elsewhere for $13. Jersey mikes does not even come close to Taystee Sub Shop, Al Jon’s, or Classic Subs in Hamilton.

I don’t come here anymore. To inconsistent. I did pop in today. Girl making the sandwiches wearing gloves. The issue is she is using the same gloves to take money. Touch the computer screen. Etc. why gloves are not good. Wash your hands or change gloves. I go to the Princeton location.

We ate here yesterday and food is good. Hence is why we went back a hour ago. Guy comes from the back stocking drinks on the online order shelf. He asked if we wanted a minute to review the menu, I said no. Then proceeds to stare at us for several minutes before taking the orders. I requested a philly giant and he asked if I wanted bell peppers and onions to which I replied it comes on it and I want american cheese which also comes on it. He wiped down the counter with the dirty rag wearing the same gloves from when we walked in then began making one of our sandwiches. My daughter did not want her sandwich after seeing that and noticing his pants were filthy. My sandwich was made by someone else thank goodness. I got home to discover I didn’t have the peppers and onions on it and had to make some for a sandwich that costed me almost $20. I could barely stomach it. It wasn’t good at all. So disappointed!
