Jersey Mike’s, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with more than 2,500 locations open and under development nationwide, has a long history of community involvement and support. Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike’s serves authentic East Coast-style subs on fresh baked bread – the same recipe it started with over 60 years ago. The company’s mission is to bring its customers the highest quality, freshest made sub in the industry and give back to the communities in which it operates.

It’s unbelievable that they only have a few toppings to choose from yet they ALWAYS mess it up. Even when ordering in store standing right there telling them 5 secs before they do it = something missing or wrong! Today, again, I even asked did you get it all (I only had 5 toppings – mayo, oil, onions, lettuce, salt+pepper) and the girl said snotty “yeah! ” and what do ya know?? I get home and NO MAYO! VERY disappointing when paying $13 for a basic regular ham + cheese sandwich. This is not the first time, but I can’t easily go back and have it remade as I’m 30 mins away. Super frustrating!!!

I order ahead from here pretty frequently and always leave a tip, as I appreciate having the convenience of the order ahead service. However, sadly, I’ve been very disappointed and frustrated with my orders the last three or four times, and frankly, I’ve had enough of it at this point. I never write reviews, but there’s a first for everything.
This location simply cannot follow an online order if it deviates from the “Mike’s Way”. It always ignores any requests or changes to the traditional sandwich.
I always select no tomatoes and no oil/vinegar blend and yet they ALWAYS put the tomatoes and oil/vinegar on. I’ve added pickles or pepper relish before, and they are inconsistently added. This evening, I ordered two sandwiches, and they completely botched them both. They switched the breads and additional toppings for the two sandwiches, mine had tomatoes yet again and they ignored the no oil/vinegar requests. My pickles were not on my sandwich, and I had the wrong bread. It was very upsetting to get a home and see a sandwich nothing like what I ordered (for yet ANOTHER time).
If you have a customization option, please read it carefully and follow it! I understand that I add things or change things, and it’s more difficult, but that’s also why I leave a tip every time. It’s endlessly frustrating to make simple requests that cannot be followed, and you don’t find out until you’ve taken your sandwich home or to work.
I will no longer be ordering from this location. I hope their online/mobile order accuracy improves, as it’s no longer worth the money for me to not get what I ordered.

Does anyone who is competent manage these Jersey Mikes locations? Do they value customer feedback at all?

These other reviews are ridiculous. I’ve been here 10+ times and it is always delicious, consistent quality and timely. Yeah, if you don’t want to wait at all, just order ahead people! Best chain-restaurant sandwiches around, no doubt. Keep up the great work Jersey Mike’s team!!!

When I placed my order for hot subs, I was told there would be at least a 20 minute wait. You could imagine my confusion when I looked around and saw there was a total of 3 customers in the restaurant. When I questioned why it would be so long, I was told because they have online orders ahead of me. Is this how corporate/ the owner teaches the employees to do business? I’ve worked in food service my whole life; customers inside the restaurant should always be prioritized. You’d rather have people standing around waiting excessive wait times, while people who haven’t even arrived yet are being prioritized. Please, change your service standards.

Disappointed with Repeated Mistakes & Poor Service
I’ve given Jersey Mike’s in North Haven (Washington Ave) multiple chances, but after my order has been incorrect three times and often missing items, I’ve had enough. When I reached out to management, their only response was a generic apology with no real effort to make things right—not even an offer to compensate for the repeated inconvenience.
Wait times are another major issue. In-store orders often take 20+ minutes, and online orders are just as bad. Even when the store is empty, they don’t prioritize orders that have already been placed, leaving you standing there waiting longer than necessary.
I love Jersey Mike’s, but this location is seriously lacking in customer service, efficiency, and attention to detail. If you’re looking for a quick and accurate meal, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

The food is good as always from a Jersey Mike’s, but service was frustratingly slow. There was only one person in front of me and it took 15 minutes to get my food and get out of the door. One girl was making the sandwiches, while three girls were in the back. I saw one girl playing on her phone while it was charging. Definitely the slowest Jersey Mike’s that I have been to, which makes its a no go for a future lunch break.

I’ve gone to this location 5 times. I gave them the benefit of the doubt 5 times.
And yet, every single time, the employees were rude, disrespectful, impatient, and treated me as if i was bothering them….
…. as if they weren’t even supposed to be providing a service. What a joke!
Ordering over the phone, the employees treated me the same way.
Not to mention, the food was on par with their attitude and service. Horrible.
GO TO THE ONE ON UNIVERSAL DRIVE (near the Cinemark, Barnes & Nobles, etc)
The Universal Drive Jersey Mike’s has friendly employees, and the SAME SUB, SAME INGREDIENTS, was 1000 times better over there than it was at this Washington Ave location.
There’s no comparison. The Washington Ave employees must not care at all and im worried their lack of professionalism may show some serious health risks in that place.
After all, if you treat your customers so poorly, how do we know you’re even properly servicing them with proper ingredients etc etc? We dont.
I will NEVER eat here again.

I love jersey Mikes, I’ve always had great experiences with this location but bow that I’m paying closer attention I notice the meats do NOT look that fresh and the way they just grab the breads and put the on the counter like that I had to hold my breathe… There was a new guy that had glasses on, he kept touching his forehead, and pushing his glasses up with his hand… The touches the sandwich… I let it slide, then he grabbed his hat maybe 3x and TOUCHED THE MEAT AND BREAD etc, I felt so embarrassed because I reacted like super shocked where j gasped out loud and it startled him and he looked up and I said you just touch your hat then touch my food!? I’m trying not to be weird but his hat was DIRTY!!! I spent $11 on the sandwich, went home and just threw it in the trash, I couldn’t unsee what I saw but didn’t want to be mean. He did change the gloves when I said oh my gosh you just touched your hat but still he did touch his glasses and forehead then touched the sandwich and had his hands all over the salads and other stuff, I was just so thrown off it makes me sad. There should be an inspection or something at that location to make sure germs aren’t spreading around… I can’t go back there unfortunately. I’ll make my own sandwich less at home. I’m only leaving this review to protect someone else from getting some kind of food borne illness. They need to get checked or get training for the employee to NOT touch themselves, talk over tbe food while making it and just use the wrap the entire time so the bread isn’t on the bare counter or something.
