I just visited this gyro spot and had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. He recommended the chicken gyro with honey mustard sauce, and I’m really glad I went with his suggestion.
Their gyros come with French fries inside, which made it extra delicious. I usually order lamb gyros, but the chicken gyro was outstanding. The honey mustard paired perfectly with the chicken, and the original sauce was great as well.
The restaurant itself was very clean with a nice atmosphere. They had the TV on with SportsCenter playing, which was a nice touch. Before I left, the owner even asked how the food was and which sauce I liked best—great customer service.
Highly recommend this place. Amazing food, welcoming atmosphere, and a genuinely nice owner. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m working in the area.

This spot is one of the best for gyros. We tried both the platter and the wrap, and both were really good. The pita had such a distinctive flavor. The tzatziki was excellent, and the rice in the platter complemented the overall flavors and the best part about this place is the reasonable prices. ✅️

Let me just start with saying this is my first time at Jersey Gyros and the experience was wonderful and it felt genuinely authentic. A welcoming location with food to match its energy. The gentleman that was taking our order was very patient and friendly to me and my family. The food is well priced especially given the current economy, I often find myself debating on buying the ingredients and making foods myself to save money but after this meal when it comes to Greek food I’m getting Jersey Gyros. The price and taste are well worth it. The food was made fresh the gentleman told us specifically the chicken souvlaki was freshly made when we were discussing our order and I believe he mentioned the baklava was homemade. If the rest of the order wasn’t freshly made then it sure did taste freshly made. Everything looked spotless as well. 5 out of 5
Orders are:
– (Famous Greek Gyros) Chicken Gyro
– Greek Salad with Chicken Souvlaki (Customized)
– Baklava

I’ve been on a Greek food kick and after trying 2 other spots in the area recently, I decided to try this one on a whim. My usual order is the chicken souvlaki platter which here comes with a salad, spread, side and pita. I ordered mine sans salad, tzatziki spread and Greek fries; in addition I requested a side of pink sauce which I’ve never gotten asked anything further but here they didn’t seem to know what I was referring to and offered me another type of pink like sauce, which did end up being tasty, albeit it wasn’t what I was looking for and it was dumped in the container rather than in a little sauce container. I also asked what their avo tzatziki sauce was ie did it have avocado and was just told no without further detail. Overall, the service was friendly but I wish the person at the register was more knowledgeable/sharing about the food. The food itself was very tasty and worth the visit. I would just plan on coming with an order in mind and not expecting the spot to be able to provide much assistance. Lastly, other places have offered for same price and set up adding in rice but I guess since they offer salad that’s the trade off.

Very delicious place to get gyros! I ordered the lamb gyro and my husband ordered the pork and we both enjoyed our sandwiches! We will definitely be back!

Honestly, the food was dry. I got sick and couldn’t even finish my food. I should also say they redo their fries and cram them into the gyro. They say they have gluten free options…. This is a lie. They never have gluten free pita for customers. There are more authentic fast food chains for gyros. Only nice thing that i can say about the restaurant was it was very clean, and the service was nice. Not worth how bad the food was though. Was so excited to try them because it looked really liked nice. Food was just terrible…. I can’t express that enough.

The most delicious, fresh food I had in a minute. The owner/manager gave us a delicious orange cake to try. This is truly my new fave place

Came because of the good reviews but was kinda disappointed by the platter we received. It was around $21 but when we got it it was super dry looking and lowkey cold. Taste was mid compared to the price so the high expectations versus low quality was disappointing. Maybe the gyros are better but idk

If you’re looking for an authentic Greek taste without having to leave New Jersey, Jersey Gyros is your place to be! If the waft of delicious, homemade Greek food isn’t enough to reel you in, the warm and humble hospitality sure will. The owner, Mike, has brought his Greek heritage to this restaurant and poured his heart and soul into it. He is extremely proud of his Greek culture and it is evident in the amazing food. The dining area is clean and a perfect spot for a convenient bite of food. A lot of the recipes are handmade by his own mom, including the flaky and savory spanakopita and the sweet baklava that will leave you wanting more. I could not get enough of the delicious and piping warm gyros – they were stuffed with Greek fries just as they would on the streets of Greece! The lamb souvlaki was so tender and savory made with fantastic Greek spices that we know and love. We also got to sample a spread of tasty Greek fruit drinks which all are imported from Greece. Don’t leave without trying their decadent desserts either. I would strongly advise you take your family and friends to Jersey Gyros for a delicious feast of wonderful Greek food!
