This place has gone downhill. Food is good, but service is just not good anymore. I used to come here all the time and loved it, but the last 3 times i have gone have been bad. This last time, I had to literally stand up from a booth and flag down our waiter when there were 5 people total in the restaurant. And my table was 3 of them. I understand being understaffed, but this particular time I actually watched our waiter takes shots at the bar at 3 in the afternoon rather than taking our order. Honestly, I think I’ve given up on this place.

I got off work craving a hot sandwich this afternoon. I’ve been to Jersey Grille a few times in the past, and thought I’d return today to satisfy this craving.
When I arrived I found the restaurant mostly empty, perhaps a few families sitting in the tables further into the restaurant space. Since I was dining alone, I took up a space at the bar. Quickly enough, the friendly bartender got me the Diet Mountain Dew I ordered and I had a menu to ponder.
I ended up choosing the New York Philly Cheese steak with fries for my meal. I had my order within about 15-20 minutes. The highlight of the meal was definitely the crinkle cut fries. Many places don’t fry them enough/right, such that they are soggy or otherwise not crisp. These fries had the combination of crisp exterior and fluffy interior that a good french fry should have. Combined with the light salting, they were definitely the best fries I’d had in a while.
I can’t really give the same praise to the cheese steak. This sandwich suffered from several deficiencies, including having way too much filling, not being adequately toasted (bun sogged up quickly) and being pretty bland otherwise. It didn’t taste bad by any means, it just wasn’t a good Philly cheese steak sandwich.
I still enjoy other things on Jersey Grille’s menu, including the burgers. I’ll probably be sticking to those from here on out. The general atmosphere of the space is great too – plenty of TVs, low not-harsh lighting, and a general low- to medium-level of sound (I never felt overwhelmed by the volume of the music). I’m definitely looking forward to coming back for a burger in the future. Thanks for being a great bar/grill!

As a delivery driver I couldnt be more disappointed. We are not here to wait on you to complete the order. Your order needs to be done BEFORE we arrive as our time is money. Quite frankly after waiting here more than 20 minutes tonight you can certainly count on me spreading the word to other drivers to avoid this location due to long wait times.

I’ve been here in the past, was a great experience. Atmosphere, food, drinks, and staff. This last visit was less than impressive. Service was mediocre at best the food was brand and or overcooked with misleading menu descriptions. The best thing about our meal was the bacon fries which were a little on the salty side.

Fantastic food! I had the pork tenderloin and my son had the fried chicken sandwich. I can’t say enough about it how good everything tasted. However, every single table was dirty. We went at 2pm on a Thursday. We sat at a table and the waiter didn’t even wipe it off. I got a wet wipe out of my purse and cleaned the table. It ruined what would have been an excellent experience. I do recommend their food though. I will go back. I’m very hopeful that the tables will be cleaner.

We were merely passing through town and wanted a decent sports bar to grab a burger and watch TNF and the beginning of the Iowa v ISU game. Came upon Jersey Grille and were so pleased with the find. Bartender was waiting our area and she was all over it. Kind, friendly, and quick. The honey barbecue wings were an outstanding appetizer. Delicious bacon cheddar cheeseburger and buffalo chicken salad. Has all the menu items you would hope for from a sports bar. Really large space with tons of seating. Great place – we’d be regulars if we lived in the area.
