*FRIENDLY ADVICE* Get there early in order to get your preferred bagel before they run out (even though there’s no such thing as a bad bagel at JBB).
Old school East Coast bagel joint filled with nods to Jersey. From all the NJ license plates covering the entry wall, to the notable actors on movie poster displays. I’ll get ahead of myself and say THIS WAS THE BEST BAGEL I’VE EVER HAD!
Was on vacation in Greenville and had to scratch that bagel itch. I am beyond thankful to have stopped by here. My fiance order the #1 Country Ham (another nod to Jersey), Egg, and Cheese on a French toast bagel. Literally one of the best salty/sweet breakfast combos I’ve ever laid taste buds on. Normally I jump on Everything bagels, I snoozed and lost: they were all out, understandably. I pivoted for the sausage, egg, and cheese on roasted garlic but it was still pungently smackin’! Slight crisp on the bottom but still fluffy with some ‘give’ throughout. I was thoroughly impressed. I believe they also had a few options for Flagels, if that’s your thing. Bialys as well.
You can order breakfast bagels, half dozen/whole dozen, solo or multiple w/ cream cheese plain or flavored (or butter, PB&J, Lox n CC), VEGAN butter or cream cheese. They even offered turkey sausage if you don’t indulge in swine. The ultimate Ma n Pa touch was the indy Christmas Bake Sale stand within the restaurant
Overall top notch stop for a light breakfast in the Greenville area. Will be stopping back there every time I find myself in town!

As a yankee I got excited to hear of a shop that focused on Northern food in the South. This is the 4th time here and it did not disappoint! Got my usual and the cashier. Her name just slipped my mind. She is awesome! Def the NY/NJ vibe. Makes me miss home. Making this our weekly spot or more then 1x a week. Devan spoiled us and went above and beyond ( I asked for his name)
They had their specialty baker here with her cookies, cakes and brownies. (Herb Winfield Artisan Baker & Chef) photo of business card attached.
See you guys again next week!!

The place is honestly really nice and the food is great! The atmosphere is nice too but isn’t my favorite (I that’s just my opinion though) but it has some nice references like from the Shining. The food is amazing and practically perfect! I absolutely love to go here and the service is absolutely wonderful. The people here are probably some of the most amazing and awesome people that I’ve ever met at any restaurant/store. The boss (not completely sure) was actually nice enough to buy me and my family some cookies, free of charge. 100/10 Recommend and I will definitely be coming back!!!!!!
Edit, the person that was selling the baked goods gave us free thing because she was leaving soon :D!

Amazing bagels. Much better than others ive tried…however they like to put cheese on everything even if you say no cheese..so say it a couple times when ordering. Everyone is very nice there and the couple selling crumb cake have fabulous desserts…bring extra $. However there are no vegetables to be found..so just enjoy your bagel and dont throw a fit

This is everything a bagel should be! They are always fresh as in warm out of the oven and plentiful
The staff especially the cashier, and atmosphere is always fun but fast. There’s always a line but it moves fast and everyone is always in a good mood even the last person in line. Never go anywhere else!

AMAZING. We walked in right at 1:00 (we didn’t realize they closed at 1:00), and they stil served us, were so kind, and the bagels are phenomenal. These are by far our favorite bagels. 10/10 recommend

Born and raised in the Bronx, lived in Brooklyn for 10 years, then lived in Staten Island for 26 years. I’ve been to bagel shops all over NYC and Long Island, I know a good bagel with a good “schmear” of cream cheese. I was skeptical because a lot of places down here promise NY or NJ style and fall a little flat. This bagel I had this morning, a poppy seeded masterpiece was absolutely delicious. A freshly made bagel (to me) should be soft on the inside and a slight crunch on the outside without being toasted. This was that! My only complaint was that all or most of the poppy seeds fell to the plate, no biggie as I put on enough cream cheese to scoop them back onto the end. I saw they also make “flagels” and there has been no one making them better than my favorite place on Avenue X in Brooklyn. I promise to try your flagel next time and bring home a Kasier roll as long as I see poppy seeds on it. Great bagels so far.

This place brings me right back home to the Tri-State area—New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and even a touch of PA. The bagels have that true Northeast taste, and the service is just as good: friendly, quick, and down-to-earth. It’s the kind of spot that reminds you of real people and real quality. Definitely a go-to for anyone missing that classic home-style bagel experience.

We tried this place last Saturday morning for breakfast. Tried a pork roll for the first time and tried some other bagels but that cinnamon sugar cream cheese is the best! We can’t wait to go back.
