A nice place to have brunch. It’s a nice little place tucked away in one corner. It’s near Burlington train station. It has an elaborate menu. There are no tables and chairs. It’s counter service. They have about 10 bar counter chairs to sit and enjoy the meal. The meal is cooked right in front of you. The place is not expensive. The service is a bit slow as they cook it fresh in front of you and it takes time. The staff is very friendly and polite.

Jerry’s Main Lunch. What can I say? …iconic old-school greasy spoon diner. The best! The staff are friendly. The food is amazing! And the prices are extremely reasonable. The locally made cinnamon rolls are huge! I’ve paid 5-times the price for places that aren’t even close to being as good as this.
This will always be my go-to when I’m in Burlington Iowa.

Cozy local perch serving all manner of comfort foods. Extensive options with everything available for any meal. Excellent prices and down-home charm make for nice garnish to their tasty food. Not to be missed. Very limited seating but super easy parking.

The food is really good, the staff is very nice, and the atmosphere is cozy! I would definitely recommend! Oh and they’re open very early in the morning, which is convenient for people that are constantly on the road.

A wonderful old time diner. We were greeted by two kind ladys that were patient while we ordered.. As all of the seating is counter side on stools you get a front row seat to the diner experience. The food was wonderful with a tasty mushroom and swiss burger, fresh hot fries, and hot chilli. With reasonable prices I will need to make another trip.

It sure is hard to find a place like this anymore, one of a kind chicken fried steak and eggs with Dutch Apple pie for the dessert … the only upsetting part was the helping size was so big that I could not have a cheeseburger as well!! 5 stars I will be back

It’s a little hole in the wall kind of place but they make you feel like family. Just a warning one hot cake is the size of your head or bigger.

It was a pleasurable trip into the past. The counter service and hot grill fired up making many tasty dishes was nostalgic. Service is friendly and ready to refill your cup with hot coffee. Cash is king and an extra fee is charged when paying with cards.
