I was really looking forward to getting that “Jerry and Sal’s pizza that I loved”. I was excited so see them reopen and I picked a time to go that wasn’t busy. me and my fiancee went to the new location and were impressed. we got a large pepperoni pizza and mozz sticks and 2 fountain sodas. The moz sticks we’re great. Then the pizza came. barely any pepperoni at all. some of the big slices had 1 pepperoni. Then I noticed that the taste was way different than what I was accustomed to. Took another bite and it was still way different. very little flavor at all. started inspecting it and after I picked up the cheese.i saw that there was a very small amount of sauce. it was damn near not sauced at all. I was very unhappy. damn near 40.00 and the only things decent was the mozz sticks and the fountain sodas. I may just stick to who I been going to since Jerry&sals shut down. good luck and I hope you do well but I’m not spending that kind of money again for a pizza that was much worse than a frozen ellios pizza.

My wife’s dad was a full blooded Italian from Sicily and this was his go-to pizza in Hanover back in the ‘90s. Nowadays, still great. And ya gotta love the “dead mall” vibe of its surroundings. (Someone restore that mall, maybe? So much lost potential!)

Always good till last night ordered a pizza and within a couple minutes it was there. Not even hot. When I order a pizza I expect a new pizza not one they had sitting there for awhile. So disappointed ☹️. Don’t think I will go back for awhile. When to the mall place they had and was never disappointed like last night

$40.00 = 10 inch pizza – had little to no cheese with holes in the dough from being so thin.
Anti pasta – had only minced ham.
Stuffed shells – over cooked and bland with only 3 shells. They moved up the street but the quality and service has gone down hill. So sad to be writing this.

Five stars because it’s just a great Hanover business. However, it’s not as good as I remember. Pizza was a bit thin and greasy. It’s better than some other pizza joints, though.

I got a steak calzone. Although is it really a calzone if it doesn’t come with ricotta cheese? It was also a bit smaller than other Strombolis I’ve had recently.

It’s still a good place

I ordered a large pepperoni pizza with green peppers and extra cheese and got sweet peppers on it. They don’t know the difference and it’s from a jar. Poor quality food. Rip people off I was told that that’s how they do their peppers when someone asks for green peppers. I had to literally explain. I wanted a green bell pepper on my pizza and what a green bell pepper is if could give no stars I would and pizza taste horrible this place went down hill

Best pizza, no doubt about it. I’ve been going here since I was little and the consistency of flavor, quality, and service has never failed.
Shoutout for the free cheesecake! It was delicious with the cookie!

This place has definitely gone down hill in the last few years as far as quality of the food as well as customer service. We ordered 2 pizzas (1 large and 1 small) and a mozzarella stick to be delivered (which cost $60). The estimated delivery was 45 mintues out. Both pizzas arrived in 45 minutes, but both were cold and the mozzarella sticks were hard as a rock and their appearance looked as if they were fried twice. I called the store and explained the situation and the manager stated I had to contact Slice for a refund. So I did. Now Slice is denying the request because the store is claiming it was the drivers fault the food was the way it was. I honestly dont believe that as I watched the tracker and the food was delivered within 10 minutes of being picked up. Neither the store or Slice are willing to rectify this. If you want fresh, hot food and a manager that cares about making their customer’s experience enjoyable (and actually providing edible food), skip Jerry and Sal’s and go elsewhere!

There is a guy that’s been there forever and he makes the best pizza. His is the only one I will eat pizza from. It’s just wonderful.

The prices are as expected. Food is ready when it’s supposed to be. If you expect your pizza to be made in 5 minutes during their rush, then you should not be going out.

Be courteous and tip! Be courteous and don’t show up when they are about to close. These folks work hard and want to go home to their families not put up with entitled selfish hollier than though people. Treat them with respect. They don’t deserve to stay late because you decided to order food last minute. I see it with food industry time and time again.
