I went to Jerrrk Time Caribbean Cuisine on Saturday afternoon and ordered jerk chicken with one side and oxtails with one side. The total was almost $50, and honestly the portion size was pretty small for that price.
Now with that said, the flavors were really good. The jerk sauce had the perfect amount of heat and great flavor, even though the chicken itself was a little tough. The oxtails were tender and flavorful, just a little different from what I’m used to. The cabbage was sweeter than expected but still very good.
As far as the service, nothing really stood out. It was pretty much “How may I help you?” then $50 and that was it.
Overall the food tasted good, but I think they should work on the portion sizes for the price.

I’ve been here a few times and I figured it’s time to leave a review. Staff is friendly, I drive by here all the time smelling the big barbecue outside by the road.
I got the curry goat with rice and paid for a second side which I chose the cabbage.
I got to be honest. I’m very disappointed for the third time…. I ended up spending $43 on just the items I mentioned plus two bottles of soda! I was told it was going to be about a 15-minute wait even though I was the only person there initially and ended up being about 30 and I had two kids in the car so that certainly didn’t help. The Curry itself seemed very light, basically unnoticeable.
I like the support restaurants and I write lots of reviews, especially for what I would feel as a christian-based establishment….
I was a chef for many years until I decided to start a family. Out of that whole plate, I might have been able to take one bite of goat, without pulling out a bone from my mouth. That to me is extremely excessive. I understand the importance of cooking the protein with the bone, but the cleaning process should have been significantly better. The rice was good. Disappointed with my second side… Extremely small.
Rice and cabbage are probably the cheapest sides you can get and I was certainly expecting to have it loaded down.
Anyway, after spending $43 when you finish your plate, you want to kind of feel like it was worth it….

I’ve eaten at Jerk Time three days in a row — that alone should tell you something. The curry chicken is absolutely heavenly, and the gravy? Unreal. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Hands down the best Caribbean food I’ve had in this entire state. The chef is from Trinidad, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out.

Oh my this was such a pleasant surprise, such great customer service and the food was truly amazing!!!
It was even a pleasure to watch while I waited and they interacted so beautifully with their regulars! Dexter and Marie Ann (?) were so nice and I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!
We got two orders of jerk chicken, jerk wings, fried shrimp, rice and peas, plantains and Mac and cheese. My family loved the jerk chicken and the Mac and cheese they wished they had gotten another order of both. I really enjoyed the fried shrimp, it was so well seasoned and the rice and peas were so good!

I placed my order at 10 15. Was told it would be ready at 11:15. Arrived at 11:13. Went to open the door it was locked. Called number 3 times and went to voicemail. Texting grub hub to make a complaint when a truck pulls up with a man with the sweetest smile. He apologized and asked me to wait so he could fix my order. I had to wait another 15 minutes…this is the reason for the lower score. But the owner was very nice. The food was good and he threw in an oxtail for my troubles.

This is a very solid spot for Jamaican food of excellent quality. The portions are generous, the flavors are amazing, and the owner is so so sweet! He suggested a substitution in one of our meals and it was bomb! I don’t usually like when people do that but he knows exactly what he’s doing over there. 10/10 recommend!

It was my first time going there and soon as I pulled up I saw the grill outside smoking and could smell the aroma of fresh jerk chicken. When the owner found out it was my first time coming he came and Introduced himself which I really liked . I got my order in a timely matter and they were not stingy with the foods my plate was filled to the rim. And the taste was delicious it was fresh and well seasoned. This place was definitely a 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!
