Food was good. No dine in option, PU only. Reasonably priced. Over all I was pleased. I got a chicken Philly sandwich. Jerk chicken wings, a side of coconut rice and peas, and spicy cabbage. All very good. Chicken had a good kick and solid flavor. Excellent option for when you just want a quick meal and don’t feel like cooking.

As many times as I’ve ate here or recommended someone to this place you would think the service would get better. Seems like the lady that take the order always have an attitude. Food is good as far as taste. The amount of food you get for the high price you pay don’t add up though. They are always closed when it say they are open. You get the Rasta pasta and it’s barely any Rasta in it says it comes with peppers and you get about two lil pieces of peppers you ask for more and it’s 5 dollars. Am I getting a whole pack of peppers? Let alone barely any noodles in it and depending on the day you may not get enough chicken. But then you Get the jerk chicken Philly it say it come with mayo. Never see any mayo on it if it is it’s a very thin layer so ask for extra mayo.. $5 dollars extra lol. The only safe thing to get is the quesadillas if you gone get your money worth because it comes with four and fries fries may be a little ski and soggy sometimes but still. Still shop and support black owned business. I hope that you update your hours and days to the correct times.

The curry chicken was actually pretty good. The spicy cabbage wasn’t bad but also wasn’t that good either if that makes sense. The Mac and cheese had to be some of the worst I’ve had in a while so i definitely don’t recommend that. I also wouldn’t recommend the $9 slice of cheesecake because that was not what I hoped for tbh. The food also wasn’t that authentic and it could potentially be because the guy cooking it wasn’t even Jamaican.

After having an allergy concern, I spoke with the owner who fully addressed the issue and then some. He went above and beyond, and I truly appreciate it. With the concern resolved, I ordered the oxtail and had it with a side of mac and cheese and sweet plantains. Everything was delicious! The oxtail was tender and flavorful and the plantains were so good and a perfect way to top of the meal

I had the absolute worst experience which really saddened me such a waste of time
I got red snapper which was over cooked the pickled veggies were bitter very disappointing
I also got the jerk chicken which was subpar at best the sauce that came with it was some kind of odd coconut tasting “jerk” again not for me
& i got a jerk chicken bowl it was not good i hate i wasted my money nobody answers the phone for any resolution. The wait time was ridiculous it was literally storming they ran out of all the sides but the Mac & cabbage which tasted like a bottom of the pot if you’re unable to give your best stop taking orders! It was a mess i found the place from a fb add which clearly brought out more ppl that they could handle & i am extremely disappointed please be ware i can’t believe i wasted that much money for a disgusting meal & to top it off it was the only thing i ate that day & i was sick throwing up the works if you know what i mean never again i added pictures because it looked a bit better then it tasted

I really like this place. Always fresh and friendly staff. They have some delicious macaroni, and I always crave the Caribbean corn and jerk chicken wings. The plantains are good also. There is no inside dining, just fyi. Tasty food and nice staff.

The greens were juicy and full of flavor and my lamb chops were cooked to my liking. Everything was delicious but those 2 main things were my favorite from the dish.

The cashier was friendly. I got the pasta with jerk chicken and broccoli my husband got the jerk chicken. We enjoyed the food. The only thing that wasn’t as flavorful as the rest was the Mac and cheese. It was a little dry. My pasta was amazing I could eat it every day.

Today was my first time visiting this place. When I tell you I WAS NOT disappointed, I was not. OMG!!! My children were pleased with their food as well. Fresh, plentiful, tasty, darn right delicious. I also experienced the Jamaican beer (taste like ginger ale BUT BETTER). I’M trying to upload the pictures so you can see for yourself. I live in north St Louis and I will definitely drive to the south side just to eat there again. Worth the drive.

Rasta pasta with jerk chicken 7.5/10
The pasta sauce was absolutely amazing. The jerk chicken was overpowered by the jerk sauce, but chicken was nicely charred.
Oxtail plate 6/10
Firstly, the photo i attached was the plate i received upon arrival. I went back to my car and noticed i paid $30 for 2 fatty pieces of oxtail. And the rice was barely there. I went back and asked if it were possible to get more rice and less fatty oxtails, and a young woman came out and greeted me with a “stank face” despite me leaving a polite complaint. They remade the dish, and i told the cashier to thank the kitchen.
Overall the sauce saved the dish, oxtails were decent.
Cabbage 2/10
Very sour off putting taste, i did not enjoy it
Mac and cheese 4/10
Tasted like country crock butter. The noodles were very mushy, and wish it was more cheesy. It was almost like a homemade dried Velveeta mac & cheese.
Overall, because they were nice enough to remake my order. I will give this place another shot. The food wasnt worth the heavy pricing.
