I got the jerk chicken, the peas and rice, and the macaroni and cheese! It was absolutely freaking delicious! The queen that served us at the counter is a very sweet woman too. Very helpful! They even give us a sample of the peas and rice before we purchased it. It is on the pricier end of a quick meal, but it’s worth every penny! My boyfriend also got the dumpling and loved it

I really enjoyed my food. I normally come and only get patties and juice only, but today I tried the jerk chicken with rice & peas. The chicken was very seasoned and spicy,& the rice was nice and fluffy. I visit Jamaica every year so the food here at the restaurant tasted authentic to me. It reminded me of Jamaica. The overall price of $9 for the entree with two sides was very reasonable & affordable.Very clean restaurant ,& staff very friendly ! I love the vibe here . I love the beef patties!

I recently tried the stew chicken with rice and peas at Jerk Spot Lounge , and I’m sad to say it was a letdown. The rice was mushy and wet, while the food presentation was terrible. The plantains were soggy, and the chicken lacked flavor. It felt like a waste of money. I would recommend trying a different place instead.

The young lady at the counter had a pleasant disposition. I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas, plantain, with a side of cabbage. The young lady suggested this was the best way for me to order all of the items I wanted. The young lady showed me the food and I realized I did not ask for gravy on my rice. When I asked if I could have some oxtail gravy added, she said yes, and the gravy was added. The service was great and the food was delicious. The only reason I did not give this restaurant a 5 star review on the food is because the rice was a little undercooked. Otherwise, you should try this restaurant.

So disappointing, jerks ribs crusty. Rice and beans was dry, cabbage looked old. Oxtail and curry goat salty, mac and cheese was tasteless. I paid 80 for 5 pieces of plantains. The last who took my order was very patient and sweet so was the lady who gave me the food. Was really hoping to love this place. The jerk chicken is for my son didn’t try it but if it tastes anything like the jerk ribs, I’ll pass. I would not recommend unless you have no idea what Caribbean food should taste like. To add to that pretty sure when I was in the parking lot the owner was yelling at the top of her lungs telling someone to keep her f’n name out of their mouth to another business owner a fee doors down after the person told her that’s the reason why they have a bad reputation. She was wearing the restaurant uniform shirt. What a first impression

My husband and I don’t venture out from our usual spots very often. We decided to take a “FIELD TRIP. ” It was worth it. The food was delicious! We’re definitely adding it to our rotation. They do a lot of take-out orders so don’t let the atmosphere drive you away.
