Wow—just wow! The food here was absolutely amazing! We had the jerk chicken, curry chicken, collard greens, mac & cheese, and stuffing—and every single dish was bursting with flavor.
The curry chicken was so juicy and rich, with deep, decadent flavors that truly stood out. The collard greens had the perfect hint of smoky goodness, and the jerk chicken? Perfectly cooked—not dry at all—and it reminded my husband of the authentic flavors we had in Jamaica!
We drove about 40 minutes to try this place, and it was 100% worth the trip. The staff was so kind and helpful, guiding us through the menu since it was our first time. They made sure we got to try the best—and they absolutely delivered. The music choice this evening was perfect volume and great genre.
The atmosphere is “mom and pop” so if you’re looking for candle light dining this is not the place but we were looking for spectacular food not ambience.
Next time, I’m definitely trying the oxtail. We’ll definitely be back, and I’m wishing this spot all the success in the world. Highly recommend!

Their food is good but THEY ARE NEVER OPEN!!! The times they have on Google is not the time they open they open when they want. We were trying to order food yesterday and my coworker texted the owner daughter and she kept saying they are open someone was coming to open the door. We sat there for 30 mins just for them to say they was closed and wasn’t going to open at all that day. Service is what makes a business great I love their food but customer service is in the ground 3/10

Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. I ordered a jerk chicken Alfredo, and when I got home it was completely inedible. The Alfredo sauce was extremely runny and overly salty, the noodles and sauce clearly were not cooked together, and the chicken was just thrown on top as an afterthought. The entire tray was swimming in watery Alfredo sauce — nothing about this dish resembled proper Alfredo.
When I called the restaurant to request a refund, I was told they “don’t give refunds.” I then asked if I could at least exchange it for something else and was told no again. To make matters worse, the young lady on the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Her exact response was, “I tasted the Alfredo, ain’t nothing wrong with it, so what do you want me to do?”
That level of disrespect and lack of accountability is unacceptable. No customer service skills whatsoever and no care for food quality or customer satisfaction. I will not be returning to this establishment and would not recommend it to anyone.

I wanted to like this place. I ordered the oxtail meal, with rice and peas and cabbage for & 28. I got half way down the street to see it was over cooked rice (taste like Uncle Beans*) with ONE BEAN. The cabbage was mixed with a bag of MIXED VEGETABLES. The oxtails are sliced THIN only two pieces were tender. The other ones were tough. Nothing about that meal was Jamaican. I do not recommend any of the items in this review. I won’t be going back at all.
*Uncle Beans rice is par boiled and is EASY to over cook.

I live an hour away I was only in town because my boyfriend had some things to do at the military base and I tagged along. This place was SO good I’m actually upset I live so far because this would be my regular spot. So flavorful and fresh I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Jerk N More in North Chgo y’all did y’all thang Chicken & Shrimp Alfredo w/ Garlic Bread a hit also I tried y’all 3 tacos meal another one least it’s something out here tht taste good definitely not like Chgo so it was nice to finally find something. Great customer service clean establishment definitely will see me again. Last but not least great music

I recommend the mac & cheese & yams for the sides it cost alil etc but I prefer them over the rice & cabbage combination. The rice was better this time around the cabbage was seasoned well but I dont care for cabbage for the most part. I really liked the fish but it was a bit salty. I also had tacos just chicken cheese lettuce there were small like street tacos but they were good didnt even get a chance to take a picture.

The Mac and cheese were a little too cheesy for my liking. Still was good though! Just a personal preference. The yams were DELISH! And the chicken was soooo good!! I will definitely be back.
