Expensive is the first word that comes to mind. This is a casual restaurant in downtown Baltimore. The food is flavorful and taste great. Prices are expensive considering the portions of protein (meat) that you receive. Rasta pasta was good however for $40+ the chicken portion was very small and disappointing. I had maybe a spoonful of chopped chicken. Same can be said about the oxtail and salmon Rasta pasta. Wings, tacos and beef patties were good also small portions of meat for the price. They don’t have many dessert offerings. Bad drinks are hit or miss. Expect to pay and additional 3% cost to use your credit card and another 7-8% “service fee.” This is all on top of your bill, server tip and whatever you paid to park. For 3 people our bill was nearly $300. We will never return. For that price we could’ve went to an upscale restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars!
Jerk at Nite gets 5 stars from me! I went on a Wednesday evening with my best friend and had an amazing experience. Our server recommended the rum punch — 10/10!
For my appetizer, I chose the beef patties — another 10/10. My entrée was the curry chicken with rice & peas and cabbage — absolutely 10/10.
The drinks and food came out in perfect timing, and everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The aesthetics were also super cute and added to the overall vibe.
Patiently waiting for the Speakeasy side to open up. We will definitely be back!

I just tried this Jamaican spot and WOW — the flavors did not disappoint.
We ordered the red snapper, oxtail tacos, Rasta pasta with salmon, and jerk wings, and every single dish came out bold, seasoned perfectly, and full of authentic Caribbean flavor.
The red snapper was beautifully cooked — crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside, and packed with spice. The oxtail tacos were a standout. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender with rich, slow-braised flavor, and the taco twist made it such a fun, creative way to enjoy a classic.
The Rasta pasta with salmon was creamy with just the right kick of heat. The salmon was cooked perfectly and paired so well with the jerk-seasoned sauce. And the jerk wings? Smoky, spicy, and saucy in all the right ways. You can tell they marinate their meat properly — the flavor goes all the way through.
On top of the amazing food, our waitress Ellen was phenomenal. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing. Her recommendations were on point, and she truly elevated the whole experience with her energy and hospitality.
Portions were generous, presentation was on point, and the vibe made the whole experience even better. If you’re craving authentic Jamaican flavors with a little creative flair, this spot is absolutely worth it.
Definitely coming back.

Second time going to jerk at night and it was phenomenal. I tired salmon nachos, the chicken and salmon tacos, the oxtails, the jerk chicken, the fried snapper, the Rasta pasta, the rum cake, and the bread, pudding, the lamb chops, and the mac & cheese. Everything was superb from the seasonings, presentation and the customer service was immaculate. Special shout out to my girl Maya, who was very attentive, very welcoming very warming. It was a phenomenal experience. I definitely will come back again. The ambience is very unique. It looks like something from a storybook with all of the low lighting the pictures on the wall and they have a lot of ethnic decor, which I totally appreciate. The owners were both very charming and very personable. He had a DJ which played some nice tunes as we ate and enjoyed. It was a great experience.

If you are looking for a hidden gem, or for a great spot to spend your night at, THIS IS THE PLACE! Not only is the food amazing, with decor that makes you feel transported, but the service is amazing. Jordan was an above and beyond waiter but it was more than just him. Everyone was so friendly, accommodating, tentative- it truly felt like you were at home. Highly recommend the beef patty, oxtail, or mac and cheese with lamb chops; but there is no where to go wrong here. Will definitely be returning!

You will not regret visiting this restaurant. Visited with my husband and our son and believe me, it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely be returning, we initially had our concerns but they were adressed immediately. The staff is definitely a 10/10 and so is the Foooood… Seasoned to the bone… lovely ambiance and we had a lovely night.

The boo brought me here for my birthday. We had a blast from the amazing food, to the great service, and nice ambiance/music. We had the jerk tacos, beef patties, coco bread, escovitch, & oxtail meal. We had no complaints with the food and drinks. Drinks had decent amount of alcohol. Go and check them out! You won’t regret it. It’s difficult finding good Caribbean food in the DMV. Highly recommended to make reservations. Parking has to be on the street or garage and you will have to walk a little bit.

Update: I had dinner with a friend. She ordered the red snapper (w/gravy) and I ordered the oxtail. They were out of curry goat- which is my favorite. Our waitress was Kaia- she was great. I let her know that the food was unreasonably spicy. I ordered food that shouldn’t be spicy, but it was. My veggies, rice, and oxtail were spicy. I couldn’t finish it, so I took it to go. The drinks were good. My friend ordered red snapper to go (w/o gravy). She loved her fish that she ate in the restaurant, but did not like the snapper she ordered to go. Updated photos added.
I dined in for brunch on a Sunday about a year ago (12/22/24). It was empty when I arrived so I was seated right away. A couple of guests came in after me. I loved the decor and atmosphere. The music was good. My waitress was sweet. The food was pretty tasty. One thing I had an issue with was the hair still being on my chicken. The seats are also very close together with small tables. I would like to go back for dinner and drinks.

I was only trying to find sth to eat right before the show at the Hippodrome Theater which was across from Jerk At Night. And I was running late. Wonderful Lean helped me and managed to get the food ASAP. The food was delicious. The chicken Taco was amazing. Probably the only taco I gave 5 stars. This place doesn’t have a full bar and that’s ok. The ambience is tropical and great for hanging out or dates. The price is very reasonable. Whenever I visit Baltimore, definitely will be there for some rum drinks.

So I’ve been wanting to visit Jerk At Nite for some time now. First glance, it seemed like a cool spot. Mixed crowd and vibes throughout the dining area. I was a bit disappointed that the menu items I was most interested in were no longer available for the evening. FYI- I was told the lamb chops (Di Choppa Dem) were a popular specialty item… A.k.a- they may run out or may not be available. Despite the initial let down, I still enjoyed the Kingston Kurry Chicken (sides rice and cabbage). The Oxtails were good as well. Very tender, but a more on the sweeter side vs spicy. Drinks, were great. Just a heads up the cocktail menu is limited. Overall, I had a good experience. The staff were super friendly and welcoming (especially Mercedes). I’m hoping to visit again. Hopefully they will have the menu items I initially wanted to try.
