Inventive Korean cuisine with elegant presentations, served in minimal environs with full bar.

I’ve celebrated two of my birthdays here, and both times were amazing. The food is always fresh and delicious, and every guest I brought absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the service is consistently great. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants!

One of our favorite dining experiences to go to. A perfect fine dining Korean tasting menu. Good progression, each course is just right in size, satiating but not too filling, the sides and sauces pair so well with each protein. You will really enjoy it whether you know Korean food or not. But their creative take on perilla leaves as dessert (sadly no more) or upscaled black bean noodles is more appreciated if you know Korean food. Our favorites are the scallop with the best beurre blanc sauce you’ll ever have, wagyu with veloute, and their rotating desserts. The cocktails are nice but the lychee mocktail is our favorite actually. The room ambiance fits well, nicely decorated, small and quiet, even the bathrooms feel luxurious. We even really like the utensils and plates, got the info for their ceramic supplier, gorgeous but not cheap. The service is always top tier with food description and utensil change every course. Not sure why they don’t have a Michelin star or at least a Bib gourmand but we’re okay with that if it means the prices remain reasonable, great value despite being in West Town.

Jeong delivered a stunning meal from start to finish. The space is warm and intimate – soft lighting, flower centerpiece, with an overall elegant & cozy vibe. Service was equally thoughtful, and they even created a custom anniversary menu that made the night feel extra special!
The 8-course tasting was packed with standouts: a delicate cod soup with just the right kick of kimchi spice, a perfectly seared scallop with beautiful texture, and Australian wagyu that literally melted in the mouth. I also loved the jjajangmyeon with the wonderfully chewy noodles. Dessert ended on a playful note with a dalgona-inspired ice cream layering coffee, jasmine, and strawberry in such a refreshing way.
We left feeling full & balanced and were genuinely so happy with the experience. Definitely will make a return in the future to celebrate special occasions.

Great ambience and amazing food.
Each course was prepared meticulously. Everything tasted great.
My favorite was the first dish which used vegetables in the best way possible. The final desert was another favorite.

This Korean prefix course is an absolute must-try! The chef has a super creative way of using traditional elements and taking the dish to the next level. It’s so visually appealing and delicious, and the texture was unbelievable. They also added this new dish called Octopus-Kkandpungi last week, and it’s hands down the best thing I’ve ever had in a few years! Scallop dish was also cooked to perfection, but what set it apart from other dishes from Michelin-starred restaurants was the small spinach + trout roe piece that came with it. Strongly recommend trying it with a wine pairing!

We had my birthday dinner here and were blown away by the menu, cocktails, atmosphere and owner! Everyone was so kind and genuine and the Koren tasting menu was a first for us and we will be back! I am a pescatarian and they had a menu for me in addition to my husbands “normal” menu. Every course was delicious and the owner sent us home with her homemade chocolate cupcake since it was my birthday. The price was very affordable for a tasting menu and you did not leave hungry. I would highly recommend this tasting menu and want to go back soon!

We made reservations for a Wednesday. The tasting menu was both unique, interesting, and flavorful. Their cocktail list was a little bit limited, I’d definitely appreciate an expansion there while continuing to utilize Korean and Asian spirits. The plating of all of the dishes was superb, conveying the beauty and creativity of each dish the chef imagined. Standouts were the Scallop, Eomuk, and Tartare. Weakest dish was hands down the Red Corn Grits, minimal taste with the flavors of the duck and seaweed not standing out as it seems they were intended. Service was close to perfect with interesting and descriptive details about each dish, perfectly spaced apart where there was always something coming. There was also just something special about the Korean theme, not a very common occurance in fine dining. Wholeheartedly recommended.

I had an enjoyable evening at Jeong. My eight-course meal was well-paced. Every single course was a great balance between textures and flavors. A few dishes could have used more tartness but that’s just a personal preference. Though the honeycomb made it a touch too sweet, the Hi-Chew dessert was still the highlight for me with a fantastic combination between satisfyingly chewy mochi, refreshing sorbet, and perfectly tangy berry jam. Service was professional yet personable. The owners were some of the loveliest and most humble people I have ever met. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between cozy and romantic, with elegant interiors, soft lighting, and well-tuned background music.

We had a really wonderful experience here celebrating a birthday. Food was very good and plated carefully. I did enjoy that all the plates were very different and complimented the dish that was being served. Seemed like a lot of thought went into the dining experience and not just creating interesting flavors. I wouldn’t really call this restaurant Korean and more of a French/Korean fusion?? French technique with some korean flavors i would say. Definitely worth trying for a special occasion.

Birthday dinner here. Service was amazing, and the staff was super friendly. Eight courses, very well paced. My favorite dinner course was the salmon tartare; so fresh with a nice cream on top and crunch from the rice. Also, had some very tender shrimp, scallops, and wagyu. Finished out with two excellent desserts: a berry sorbet with a gingerbread snap and a chocolate cake with an Oreo crumble. Both super tasty and a great finish to a great meal.
