Fun diner vibes, friendly service. Their chips are cut half the size of normal, which I loved as they were bite sized. Their green salsa is wonderfully spicy!

But of course, the main course. We tried a supreme taco of all 3 meats. The spices in the ground beef / steak are. . . Different? Almost like a pot roast. Even the steak meat itself had a pot roast texture. The chicken is shredded and good overall. Great tortillas and toppings and yummy overall!

Tried their chips and salsa and their ground beef taco (made supreme). The salsa was hot and spicy, and I loved it! The taco, while really good, threw me for a loop as the seasoning reminded me of pot roast. It’s good, but it wasn’t what I was expecting of a Mexican styled dish. The salsa didn’t seem to override the seasoning, either.

Service is always ..ok… It’s not the kind of place you’re going to sit down with the family expecting to be waited on hand and foot. It’s more like a quick snack shack. It’s definitely not the place for your uppity white woman or if your first name is Chip!! Lol. Just kidding, but it is more of a street taco kind of place. And in response for another review, you almost always have white corn or yellow corn and some type of oil so it doesn’t crumble. Cornerstones flexible flower. Decent tacos.

This place is tiny. 20ish people could probably sit in here and eat. They make the food right out in front of you too. They’re more of an Americanized taco place. Standard tacos here are corn tortillas with lettuce, tomatoes, and your meat choice. They have burritos and Quesadillas too. I didn’t see any queso sauce options. They also offer burgers. I ordered their standard tacos-1 chicken 1 steak. I also ordered what typically I see referred to as a Mexican taco with just cilantro and onion. I also ordered a steak, bean, and cheese quesadilla. All to go. I waited 25 minutes for my food. They were busy. Several call in orders, and 75% of their eat in seats were filled, but I still feel like that was a bit long of a wait for a tiny taco joint. The food was decent. I would eat there again. It wasn’t good enough that I’d make a special trip into town for it though. I wouldn’t tell my friends “guys you HAVE to try this place”. I adore tacos and Mexican food. (I had never heard of this place before. I’m not from this town. I found it be searching google maps and it’s fairly high star rating)

Great food! Just when I thought I was stuck in the middle of no where, Jenys Tacos came to save the day. Family run so you know it’s good. Didn’t bother to read the reviews, but my meal (3x tacos) was fantastic! Filling and authentic.

Awesome local comfort food. I am vegetarian and the bean tacos are amazing. Awesome service. Cooks right in front of you. Very kind and friendly. Cooking shows always on the tv which we enjoy. The best part of all is the green verde sauce that they make! I’m telling you I pour this on every bite. A weekly spot for my girlfriend and I.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that restaurants and other public accommodations allow service animals in most areas where the public is allowed to go. This includes indoor dining rooms and places with “no pets” policies.

Here are some other ADA rules for service animals in restaurants:

No discrimination: Businesses cannot treat people with service animals less favorably than other patrons.

No fees: Businesses cannot charge people with service animals fees that are not charged to other patrons without animals.

No removal: A person with a disability cannot be asked to remove their service animal unless the dog is out of control or not housebroken.

No questions: Businesses cannot ask for documentation or proof that the animal is a service animal.

No isolation: Businesses cannot isolate people with service animals from other patrons.

No care required: Staff are not required to care for or supervise service animals.

Service animals are dogs of any breed or size that are trained to perform a task related to a person’s disability. They do not need to be certified or wear a vest.

Some state or local laws may cover animals that are still in training.

i’ve always loved jenys and their food and i crave it every so often but my past experience there has ruined my whole perception of the establishment. jenys has a reoccurring problem of not turning off their phones after picking up a call, so you can never call in because the line is always busy. i called in two months ago to make a to go order but got rear ended about five minutes later. this meant i couldn’t pick up my food, so i *attempted* to call back 7 times but because they didn’t shut off their phone my calls could never go through. my parents own a small business in town, so i know how important it is for customers to be responsible for their orders/appointments as well. i called in two days ago to place another order and they said that because i didn’t pick up my food from the last time i called, if i wanted to make another order id have to pay for the food i never got. i explained to them that i had gotten into an accident and i tried to call multiple times to let them know i couldn’t come pick up the food but i physically could not reach them. the lady taking my order then told me that it “wasn’t their problem” and “that’s how they do things there.” i understand from the business side of it that it’s frustrating having to toss food/waste resources and money because of a no show pick up, but it’s entirely jenys responsibility to make sure their phone is always accessible. they had already lost the $11 from two months ago, and they still wanted me to reimburse them for that two months later, for food i never got, for an order i tried to call back for to make sure they didn’t make, for an order i couldn’t come pick up or drive to the establishment to say “hey i need to cancel my order.” on top of that, when i really just wanted jenys food because their food really is great, i asked my dad to make a to go order in the restaurant and they also refused him service because they somehow assumed that he was my dad, but imagine if he had no relation to me and just wanted some tacos. jenys doesn’t care about keeping customer integrity at all, sad.
