Our family celebrated my wife’s birthday at one of our favorite breakfast hangouts: Jensen’s Cafe. I ordered the Kitchen Sink Omlette. It was excellent, as usual. Our server was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was bright and crowded (it’s a very popular spot). A good time was had by all. We arrived fairly early and had no problem getting seated but by the time we were leaving it started getting very busy. Highly recommend but best to get there early.

I had a disappointing experience with customer service at Jensen’s Café while placing a pickup order.
I called ahead to ask if a specific soup was being served that day. The manager answered the phone and was very short, but confirmed it was available. I explained that I lived a bit farther out and would call back when I was on my way so it would be fresh. When I called back about 15 minutes later, he answered again. I ordered four cups of the soup. He said, “I don’t know if I have four cups, I’ve got to go check.” After checking, he came back and simply said, “Just that.” I assumed that meant yes, they had enough, and confirmed the order. His response was, “Okay, come get it,” which already felt unprofessional and dismissive.
When I arrived to pick up my order, there was no greeting. I told him I was there for the soup, and he turned around grabbed the bag and rang it up. I wasn’t told the total—just told to tap my card. While I was there, an older couple walked up behind me and he spoke to them just as abruptly, firmly saying, “Just two?” with no greeting. There were also two bus boys leaning against the counter, which didn’t help the overall impression.
When I got home, I was even more disappointed to see the soups themselves. The presentation was not what I expected (see photo).
I understand everyone has bad days but basic courtesy and professionalism go a long way. Unfortunately, between the rude interactions and the quality of the order, this experience left a lot to be desired

Heard good things so tried it with a girlfriend and we definitely weren’t disappointed!! Great food. Nice people. Don’t mistake the syrup for French toast as watered down as it’s butter mixed with it!! Very good all around.

The food was great, very hearty and fulfilling. We went on a weekday so there was no line to wait. On weekends I hear that it’s quite busy. Service and the people were nice and friendly. Finding parking in this area is a bit difficult but overall the area is nice.

Wonderful breakfast!! I had the blueberry pancake combo and they were the best BB pancakes I’ve ever had. Hubby had breakfast combo with hashbrowns and cheese and ham. Very delicious. Also the seasoned potatoes that came with my combo were so delicious. Our waitress was Abi, and she was very attentive to us and the tables around us. She was very personable and so friendly. Next time we’re in the area we will definitely eat here again. It was a pleasurable experience.

This place was highly recommended on Facebook oddly enough…. It was delicious! I got the breakfast enchiladas and they were soooo good! My husband got the French toast combo. The French toast came with this Carmel syrup that was out of this world. Highly recommend. Had to wait about 30 min but it was absolutely worth the wait! Will be back.

Wait was 20 minutes at around 10am on a Saturday, so not too bad. Had time at the gift shop, which was fun. The food was good (country fried steak and biscuits and gravy) and was served hot and fresh. Took about 40 minutes to get the food, though.
The service was very lackluster. Our waitress, Grace, had no customer service skills and was passive aggressive. Would recommend the restaurant, but service needs work.

Their Cinnamon Roll French toast was excellent! I would go back for that no doubt but it was only their special of the day. The Cajun Breakfast plate was also tasty and a solid breakfast option. The rest of the menu was good but pretty typical but honestly I would choose Perkins over this as they’re half the price, two people can eat from one plate and it’s just as good. The one thing that was great was their homemade jam buuuuttt if I’m being honest, the jam at Lynde’s in Osseo is better.

Great breakfast place. My whole table got the fiesta omelette and we all loved it!❤️ It was very tasty and a little spicy. Nice size too. Service was great! Our waitress (Grace) was on top of it and helpful. I’d definitely go back and encourage you to go. It got crowded fast!
