I recently tried a Hawaiian vegetarian burger, and wow, it was incredibly delicious. The combination of pineapple and teriyaki made it one of the best burgers I’ve had so far. The sweetness of the pineapple paired perfectly with the sauce, giving it a tropical twist while still keeping that satisfying, hearty burger feel.
I also tried the Challenger turkey burger, and it was yum as well. I added Thousand Island sauce and pickles, which made it even better — tangy, creamy, and full of great flavor. Both burgers still had a nice touch of traditional burger taste, which I really enjoyed.
Overall, a fantastic experience — definitely worth trying!

Finished a 5K run in GGP and wanted a burger before heading home and decided to try this place over Super Duper (which is also nearby).
I got the Cheeseburger combo. The cheese came unmelted. They have a do-it-yourself toppings bar which is a unique experience and allows you to go crazy on toppings if you wanted to. No special sauces here which I think is usually what makes a burger stand out, otherwise all the other toppings are pretty basic. I say the burger is OK, I just wish there was more flavors to choose from the bar.
The fries were excellent and crisp. Fountain drink is as you expect.

Each burger is made-to-order and affordable (by SF standards). My favorite part was the self-service condiment bar; I got exactly what I wanted on my burger with the perfect amount of sauce-to-toppings ratio. More places should do it this way!!

Righteous burger at a hole in the wall joint next to Golden Gate Park.
Pleasantly surprised at the size, quality and juiciness of the burger patty.
The self service toppings bar was different but I really enjoyed it so I could freely pick and choose not only my toppings but also the dressings to go with my burger.
Twister fries were solid as well.
Definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the area and looking for a good burger spot.

As fast food goes it’s okay. But man the place is dirty. Kitchen looks like soviet prison canteen – grease on walls . Guy taking in orders has charisma of lamp post. Don’t think he wants to do job he is doing. And prices are high – but that is Trump’s achievement.

We loved it! We got there right when they opened on Sunday and they were quick to turn around our order. We tasted four different types of fries – we preferred the garlic fries and the spicy cheese fries. Maybe ask for the spicy cheese sauce on the side because the fries at the bottom of the boat were totally drenched. The burgers were flame grilled on a spinning grill and it made them taste fantastic – meaty, a little charred and juicy! I will say the little shop was very small and a little warm, hindsight we should have gotten our order to go and eaten in the park.

I really like their “build your own condiments” section. They make the burger and give you buns. You can put however much lettuce, onions, ketchup, and more on your burger. Tried the bacon cheeseburger and it was pretty good!
