Jenni’s Quesadillas absolutely lives up to the social media hype.

The stand had a steady line, but the energy made it part of the experience. Everyone working was genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the whole process felt organized and efficient.

I ordered a chicharrón quesadilla and a picadillo tlacoyo. Both were packed with flavor, fresh, and satisfying in that way that makes you pause after the first bite. And the portion sizes? I was full for the rest of the day from just those two items.

The best part might be the price. I spent less than $5 USD total. Incredible value for food that good.

If you’re in Roma Norte, it’s absolutely worth the stop.

The tacos here are definitely worth the hype. We tried the truffle mushroom, zucchini flower, chicken tinga and mole verde and loved them all. The lines are usually pretty long, but we went right at 10am when they open and it was very easy. It’s not a sit down so come expecting to eat in your feet- but soo worth it.

This was the best thing my girl and I ate today. It was so good, we left after eating one and we went back 30 minutes later to buy another one. There may be a line, but it’s worth the wait. Also, there are no tables so you’re eating standing up…but that’s street food for you…it’s part of the charm.

Tortillas were hand made and so good. The chicken and cheese were seasoned and cooked perfectly. We’ll definitely be stopping back by a couple more times before we leave.

OVERHYPED. Food was bland. I had the chicken mole, picadillo, and zucchini flower quesadillas. The main lady making them is bold and rude. Line moves pretty quick, but definitely won’t be going back.

We tried the “tacos de canasta Anita” around the corner and those were 100/10, so flavorful, a million times better.

I ate this quesadilla and immediately questioned my upbringing.

At Jenni’s Quesadillas, the picadillo quesadilla didn’t just show up, it asserted dominance. One bite and my internal voice went silent. Just meat, masa, spice, and pure confidence. This thing tastes like someone’s abuela made it out of love, spite, and 40 years of experience.

The picadillo was perfectly seasoned, rich, comforting, and somehow aggressive in the best way. The tortilla held it all together like it knew the stakes. No frills. No nonsense. Just excellence. I felt judged for every quesadilla I’d ever praised before this moment.

This wasn’t food. It was a correction.

10/10. Best picadillo quesadilla on Earth. Argue with the wall.

Jenni’s is a stand on the street – very authentic and local. They are fast, no nonsense. Know what you want to order and order. Tried several quesadillas and our favorite was the chicken verde and the beef tinga. The food was delicious. Also the experience was great – we ate like many locals do, grab some food and stand on the street. Highly recommend!

The food felt very unique and authentic. They have vegetarian options that I hadn’t see before and were continuously making blue corn tortillas – fresh off the stove! Worth it once but maybe wouldn’t come here again on this trip. They were also closed the first time we came (6PM), and the next day they had moved but there was a sign up with the new location!

We enjoyed this popular street stand. There is usually a line so be prepared but it give a good authentic street expereince. One woman hand made the tortillas while another makes the food. You stand on the side to eat.i recommend the pumpkin flour quesadilla. Overall a good street food experience.

Now this is fast food!
They have various options to fill the handmade blue corn tortilla made on the spot. Trust me when I say you can’t just have one.

Jenni is running a military operation here in the best way. Walked by when the line was short and jumped right in! There is a menu here to order which is nice, something not often found at street food carts here in CDMX. I ordered the huitlacoche and pollo verde quesadillas and WOW! The fresh blue corn tortilla makes all the difference, paired with the fresh cheese that is actively being pulled apart for each order. 11/10! 40 pesos per quesadilla too, just insane.
