It is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The tapioca pearls are always fresh and chewy, and the staff is extra friendly and helpful.

Jen Ju is one of my favorite spots in Newburyport. I love the variety of flavors offered on their menu. My personal favorite is the Taro Milk Tea with Lychee Pearls, but their tea pumps are also worth a try. In addition to their drinks, they also sell various international snacks and cute boba-themed gifts.

Loved this place! The people who served my friend and I were so nice! We had no idea what to get and they recommend a jasmine dragonfruit tea with strawberry popping boba for us and it was amazing! The tea was good I ordered rose tea with strawberry and mango popping boba! Unfortunately the customer service isn’t all there. When I was ready to order the employees were busy on their phones until they finally acknowledged me… could use some genuine smiles at this location. But none the less the quality of the tea is great!

We were on our way to the North Shore to check out Plum Island but we wanted to stop and get bubble tea first and Jen Ju came up as a top result. A cute little shop with not a lot of choices (NOT A BAD THING), sometimes when there are too many drinks it feels overwhelming and I’m never sure what to pick. We ordered the Dragonfruit Slushie with regular boba and the Butterfly Tea Lemonade with regular boba.
