Had a wonderful time here! The service was perfect! The way they bring the jalapeno smash burger together is incredible too. Even for a chilly night in December the patio seating was cozy and warm next to our heater. A bowl of Dumpling soup hit the spot. The lions mane tempura with a fresh lemon slice and creamy dipping sauce was outstanding!

These mouth watering photos speak for themselves already! Jeju is our happy place and we always have a great time here. There is beautiful outdoor seating or cozy indoor tables. The team and owner are always professional and inviting. It’s dog friendly and the food is consistently delicious, yet not heavy. The ingredients taste fresh and the calamari is our favorite in town.

Stopped by this place in Carmel plaza while strolling around the village. Decent food, good ambience and decent service! Portion sizes are huge for one person as most dishes come with a side of rice as well (even the noodles). Glass noodles tasted pretty good, but the tofu protein add was so bland and not even salted properly. Kimchi dumplings were average – too oily for my liking. Good overall was a bit overpriced especially when requesting hot water was charged extra as well as protein add was 8$ minimum. One highlight was their dog menu, my pup thoroughly enjoyed the bacon!

It’s not an authentic Korean restaurant, but it’s a great place to taste Korean food. You can taste representative ribs and bibimbap. Especially Korean pancake was delicious. Please note that bibimbap is really large.
I especially liked the very clean and modern interior. There are not many tables prepared, but since it was weekday evening, I was able to enter right away without waiting.
I recommend you to visit.

This was, unfortunately, a wholly frustrating experience. From the casually hostile hostess, whose very first words gruffly informed us that they “don’t do strollers” (well, we do, so tough; do you treat wheelchair bound people with similar disdain?!), we were able to find a way to park our stroller to the side, out of the way, so that we could utilize one of the semi-damp patio tables outside.
Once seated, I ended up ordering the kimchi smashburger, while my wife went with the jajangmyeon noodles, from our waitress, who was vastly superior in personality to the hostess. Sadly though, the food we received was another detractor: the smashburger was anything but smashed, being so tall as to be almost too big to bite into, and seemed woefully undercooked for its namesake; it was alright, but not great, and certainly not what it advertised itself to be.
On a similar note, my wife complained that somehow, her noodles were almost completely flavorless, but even worse than that was the dry, tough, inedible pork belly that accompanied it. She managed to make it about a half dozen bites before giving up; we would end up finding her a meal at another restaurant later that night, to make up for her inedible entrée.
Korean food is just about always a home run with us, so it was as surprising as it was disappointing, to leave with…well, I can’t say BAD taste, so we’ll say….such an absence of taste in our mouths. Combined with the aloof hostess and the poor seating, Jeju Kitchen, at least this location, is one place to which we will sadly not be returning.

This place was very nice we got seated quickly, the server was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The dinning area was nice to sit in bright natural light. The food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

The food was delicious and the portions were monstrous. I guess it was a very good value if you consider that there will be so many leftovers. Our party of four does not like to waste food, and just seeing these portions, while very tasty, felt quite daunting. My request to Jeju Kitchen is to offer both small and large portions on the menu, or downsize their portions & prices a bit. The “KFC” fried chicken was comically huge. Like 6 chicken breasts and two legs. This dish alone would have fed the four of us. The Poke bowl would have fed two people. I felt especially bad about wasting the last bits of the Poke bowl because it’s a dish that won’t keep very well as a leftover. Anyway, we did love this restaurant and the portion size was my only criticism.

My boyfriend and I had a dinner reservation here and I was very excited to try this place out. However, the food was so bland. I’m not sure if the food is always this bland or if it’s because I didn’t order one of the popular dishes. I ordered black bean noodles (jajangmyeon noodles) and beef stone pot dolsot bibimbap. The appetizers we ordered were okay (chili oil wontons and korean pancakes). Overall, I had better Korean food elsewhere. Jeju kitchen was just okay. The pictures of the food look tasty though! Haha. On another note, the service was really good. Our server was very attentive. Atmosphere was also nice.

Really good Korean food! Food came fresh and hot, tasted amazing. Wish they had more cider options, but they had a good alcohol menu for sure.
