This place is like walking into your grandmother’s home. It smells amazing and you just know you’ll be getting something delicious and nourishing to eat. It may not be the most modern restaurant you’ve ever been to, but I promise you won’t leave unsatisfied.
The food is warm and comforting. I got the half bbq chicken and it was perfect. Succulent, smoky, and just a little sweet. The cornbread was salty and coarse, just like I like it, and the banana pudding was the perfect way to end off a filling meal.
This little hidden gem is by far worth looking for.

My wife, son and I ate at Jeff’s for the first time today. Wow!! We have deprived ourselves of one of the best places we have ever eaten at. We got chicken and dressing, fried chicken, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, fried okra, mac & cheese, turnip greens, and pinto beans. They were all amazing, but to me the customer service is fantastic. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were treated wonderfully. There are a few other places like this in the Murfreesboro area, but none come close to the experience we had today. Oh, and don’t miss out on some of the best peach cobbler on the planet. If you are ever in the area don’t miss out on this exceptional place.

Oh my goodness, this is a hidden Meat n 3 gem!! The food was AMAZING!! I had fried chicken, fried okra, turnip greens, dressing w/gravy, flapjack, and hot water cornbread. The chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy on the inside and just the right crunch on the outside. The fried okra was the best I’ve had in a very long time and the turnip greens were cooked perfect and delicious. The dressing reminded me of my momma’s and memaw’s, perfect!! The flapjack and hot water cornbread was on the sweet side which I’m not a fan of, but they do have yeast rolls so I’ll try that next time. I was so full I didn’t get to try a dessert but I definitely will next time!! Kudos to y’all for the best comfort food I’ve had in years!! Can’t wait to go back!!

I love trying new places, especially smaller local places as this one. For $14 you can get this tray. Meat and 2 sides and a biscuit or cornbread. The cornbread was so buttery and amazing I didn’t even need to add butter. The fried chicken is perfectly fried and extremely juicy.

Wonderful spot for lunch. Hard to find a great meat and three that knows how to make turnip greens but this is the one! Turnip greens and pinto beans with the flapjack cornbread are a must.
