Delicious bagels! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cinnamon sugar bagel reminded me of an Auntie Anne’s pretzel. Not as dense as a traditional bagel so it was nice and soft. The cannoli cream cheese was packed with chocolate chips. There are some many flavor options! Can’t wait to try more!

Good and bad. 1st: they make decent New York style bagels if your only interested in good texture.… soft and clearly fresh, not too chewy, but their product consistency is all over the place… Their bagel ‘flavors’ are largely superficial toppings, not baked into the bagel like Ruby’s, and aren’t that distinct. They’re all very close to plain bagels. Often times, after a couple hours, when I go to prepare the bagel, all the toppings fall off with the sheet of cheese baked on top; or all the rosemary salt, or cinnamon sugar has come off.

!!! Also, they DON’T toast bagels !!! Like what!

!!! …And they don’t make any breakfast sandwiches with those bagels. Now I can forgive them this for wanting to simplify operations and ingredients, but it seems like an extremely mistaken lost opportunity.

And for the most crucial… a good bagel shop should flow through customers rapidly, especially when their menu is so simplied without toasting bagels. This place at the Bees Ferry location is just painfully slow and inefficient.

SLOW !! SLOW !! SLOW!!

It doesn’t matter what I do. Even when they are not busy. Today for instance, went in to order 6 bagels to-go. No toppings. No preparation. Just put the bagels in a bag and off I go to make my own bagel sandwiches at home. !! 20 minutes later, I’m finally leaving the place to head home, after fielding 2-3 text messages from the wife: “are you still waiting? The drive-thru was no better on previous attempt.

Rather than just putting my bagel selections in a bag while ordering, they electronically enter it for someone else to do some 15minures later.

Do with the review what you will, but I’m frustrated. I’ve tried them when they opened, and a few times since due to their proximity to my home, but honestly, the trip to Ruby’s is still probably worth it.

Inconsistent. My son’s plain bagel was like 45% smaller than the rest…

I swing by Jeff’s once a month to get bagels for our team meetings and their bagels are always a treat.

I picked up a large order this morning and the team went out of their way to have the order ready for me, and even helped me carry everything to my car.

If there is ever a delay or issue, Jeff’s has always made an effort to make things right. Great customer service and communication from the team and manager, Jay!

Bagel itself is good. But whole experience left alot to be desired. Workers are not welcoming. Ordered only two bagels but they managed to picked the wrong one. Got blueberry instead of Cinnamon Sugar. These two even don’t look the same. How do you mess that up?! Also at 5 dollar per bagel
With spread, you think they would at least toast the bagel but NO. Will not be back !!!

Since moving to Charleston a decade ago I’ve come to resign myself to the fact that even the best bagels would pale in comparison to a legit NY bagel shop, until we randomly discovered Jeff’s Bagel Run one Saturday morning.

First reason I love it, the hours! It’s open early so our family can just get up and go and it’s right around the corner from our house in W Ashley.

When I brought my three girls inside the employees were so welcoming. I knew the bagels would be great when they explained how they boil their bagels and do not toast them.

They did not disappoint. The bagels are boiled and then baked to produce a beautiful crust with a fluffy center.

My favorite was the sesame but our girls flipped over the cinnamon and sugar and blueberry.

Their cream cheese spreads were just what I’ve missed from East coast bagels.

The employees gave us a discount for it being our first time and for half a dozen bagels and spreads it was under $30.

Will absolutely be back, wonderful bagels, warm employees.

Jeff’s bagel run is a hidden gem!! They have a great selection of boiled bagels and whipped spreads. 10/10 flavor and texture. I’ve shared this spot with all of my coworkers and we are all hooked. If you’re looking for the best bagel in Charleston check out Jeff’s bagel Run also they have a drive thru!! I gotta love a drive thru with three small kids!!

They also have a spread flight. Who ever thought of this is a genius. I want to try everything and so do my children! The spread flight is perfect! They also have a special bagel flavor everyday… cinnamon roll today?!?! Um excuse me, the baker needs a raise they were .
Last but not least the service is always top notch no matter who is helping me. Everyone is wonderful, the entire staff is amazing.

Jeff’s Bagel Run is hands down amazing.
The bagels are soft on the inside with just the right chew on the outside, legitimately perfect bagels. The spreads are honestly some of the best I’ve had.
And the staff is Super friendly and helpful. They make the whole experience feel personal, not just like another order.
Can’t recommend this place enough. Always leaving happy. 5 stars all day everyday. If you haven’t tried Jeff’s Bagels, then what are you doing with your life?

As a Charleston native now living in NYC, I was so excited to see this spot open near my parents’ house. We’ve done takeout a couple of times and overall it’s been a great experience. Definitely one of the better bagel options in the area. The only downside for me personally, is the Everything bagel, which was much saltier than expected on both visits. It’s so much salt that it overpowers the flavor. I honestly have never tasted salt on an Everything bagel in NYC before so when I bit into this, I had to throw it out. It was not edible. That being said, the asiago cheese bagel is delicious and I’ll absolutely be back to try more bagel options. Just not the Everything bagel.

Bagels were okay but not great. Too soft and doughy. Service people were good but they cannot toast (or even warm) the bagels because “the boss told us not to”. Store was out of coffee. Almost no place to sit and eat. Maybe fine for takeout but many other bagel shops are far better.
