Where The Wind Takes Me
I had such a great experience! I ordered a cinnamon sugar bagel with cookies and cream cream cheese, and it was absolutely perfect. The bagel was hot and fresh, with just the right texture. The cinnamon sugar wasn’t overly sweet, which I loved, and it paired so well with the cookies and cream cream cheese. Both had a balanced sweetness that complemented each other perfectly.

What really stood out to me was the customer service. They were so sweet and welcoming. She took the time to explain that they don’t toast their bagels, offered to let me try the cream cheese before purchasing, and even gave me great suggestions on which bagel flavors would pair best with the one I wanted. That level of care made my first visit feel special.

I would 100% go back and definitely recommend it to others. My only wish is that they stayed open a little longer — but I understand they’re more of a breakfast and brunch spot. Overall, such a great first experience!

Fantastic! The banana iced latte was amazing, and the bagels were soft, fresh, and perfectly chewy. They offer such unique cream cheese flavors. I especially loved the espresso cream cheese. Service was quick and friendly, which made the experience even better. I just wish they had a location in Raleigh!

This place knows how to make a good bagel but they don’t know what makes a good bagel shop. If you want a place where you can stop in and grab a bite to eat right then, this is NOT that place. If you want a place where you can stock up on some good bagels to take home for later, then Jeff’s has you covered. Set your expectations accordingly.

I am from the NY/NJ area and absolutely obsessed with bagels so I’ve been on a serious hunt for good quality bagels in NC and have tried what feels like every bagel place within a 40 mile radius around Raleigh. I can say with complete confidence that there are no good bagels in NC, they don’t know what they are doing down here with bread and most of the time the good reviews come from people with low standards. Jeff’s is fairly new and had good reviews so I went 45 minutes out of my way to try it.

When I visited around 1pm on a Monday the place smelled like the bathroom’s cleaning supplies rather than like any kind of food, which is never a good sign. I was surprised to learn that they do not serve any kind of breakfast sandwiches and they won’t even toast your bagel or put the spreads on it, they just give you a cold sliced bagel in a bag with a side of whatever spread. It’s crazy that plain cream cheese and plain butter cost the same as the fancy cream cheeses with the mix-ins. There are chain bakeries and coffee shops that offer worse quality bagels but better quality bagel service than this place. Jeff’s price is comparable to those places, but it seems silly that the staff would offer to “warm up a bagel in the oven” but don’t have an option to toast it.

I tried the pumpkin spice cream cheese and the chive & onion cream cheese. Both were absolutely delicious. The pumpkin spice cream cheese tasted like pumpkin cheesecake I could have eaten it by the spoonful out of the little cup it was so good. It wasn’t mixed very well so there were chunks of plain cream cheese throughout but it was delicious so I didn’t mind. The bagels I got were cold, cold enough they felt like they’d been taken out of the fridge and bagged up. The pumpkin spice bagel didn’t have a strong odor or flavor, was slightly more fall tasting than a plain bagel, but the texture was nice and chewy with a good glossy outer shell from boiling. I ate the pumpkin spice bagel cold and dipped it in the pumpkin spice cream cheese, the cream cheese was really the start of the show. The onion & chive cream cheese had red onions in it which is pretty uncommon but it was very tasty, although a lot softer/smoother in texture than the pumpkin spice. The everything bagel had a good seasoning blend that really highlighted the garlic & onion & salt compared to most places that bury the bagel in poppyseed and completely miss the mark. The texture of the bagels was the best texture I’ve found in NC, nice and chewy and dense with a good spring to it. The everything bagel was a lot better after I took it home and toasted it and put the spread on myself, I just hate stopping in to a bagel shop and ordering a DIY project.

I don’t think I would drive out of my way again for these, but I might stop by and stock up on a dozen to keep in the freezer if I’m ever passing through.

We finally made it over here and I regret not coming sooner! The guy at the counter was super helpful and walked us through their variety of bagels and cream cheeses. I was pleasantly surprised at how much we loved the bagels. Very fresh and light. Brought one home for my fiancé and he said it was the best bagel he’s ever had. They don’t do breakfast sandwiches or anything of the sort but that’s ok. My friends were happy with their chai and iced coffees. There’s not a ton of indoor seating but most people seem to do take-out anyways.

Jeff’s Bagel Run is top-tier. The service is quick, the staff is friendly, and the bagels are always fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they really care about quality. Every visit hits the spot—definitely one of my favorite stops now. Highly recommend!

I’ve been hearing about this place for alittle while now, so since I had to go that way, I stopped in to check it out. Easy to find and park. Its very small, only 2 tables inside so keep that in mind if eating there. Cute merch set up!

Decent size bagel selection, TONS of crazy spreads like cake batter!! The garden veggie looked amazing to me so I tried that with my everything bagel. The bagel was huge! They give a generous amount of cream cheese in a small container. Toppings only on the top of the bagel. The bagel was very filling!

The cookie selection looks amazing! Yum!

Only got 2 complaints:
1- They don’t have an option to toast your bagel.

2- They should offer sandwiches!

It’s just bagels and coffee and cookies.

I would recommend this place and I will go back to try one of the crazy spreads and a cookie!

Oh, and has vegan options if your into that kinda thing

We had yet another excellent experience at Jeff’s Bagel Run today. Noah, the cashier, was very friendly and helpful, making various suggestions to fit our tastes. Also, our order was filled quickly and accurately. The bagels we bought were very fresh (still warm from the oven!) and tasty. But to be honest, this is what we’ve come to expect every time we visit this establishment. It’s clear that both the operator and employees alike care about what they do. It shows in their product and hospitality.

Similar to other reviewers, I too wish there were more options such as toasting, sandwiches, etc. However, I think that by not having these offerings, it allows them to be extremely efficient and focused on making good bagels and move the customer line along. Additionally, with the bagels being consistently fresh and warm, they’re starting to win me over from my “toasted bagel tradition”.

Lastly, I give Jeff’s a “4” in the atmosphere category for no reason other than I wish they had more inside seating. It’s such a fun place, I just want to hang out there a little bit longer.

Everything was fantastic. The food, the service and the atmosphere. I got a half dozen bagels and the vegan chive and onions cream cheese. My bagel choices were rosemary/salt, sesame, jalapeño/ cheddar, and an Everything. All of them have been amazing. The cream cheese I could rave about to anyone and everyone. It is so creamy and tastes like real cream cheese. I would love to know the recipe!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Jeff’s Bagel Run on Tuesday with my boyfriend, and we were thoroughly impressed by the quality of their bagels—they are truly exceptional! I even decided to follow them on Instagram to keep up with any updates. For anyone who hasn’t had the chance to try them yet, I highly recommend checking them out. Coming from Queens, New York, where bagels are a staple, I can confidently say that these bagels surpass many I’ve had. They are by far the best I’ve tasted since moving to North Carolina. Additionally, I appreciate how user-friendly and efficient the app is for placing orders. We will certainly be ordering another dozen soon!

Been hearing about them for a while so I had to try. Bagels are soft and delicious. My favorite spread was the roasted jalapeño. My mom loved the cannoli. Tried many bagels and they were all good. Hard to pick a favorite. We had bagels for days and they were still perfect the next day. Would definitely come back again.
