This place is definitely worth a visit. Those who read my reviews know that I almost never give 5 stars, but I would have for this place except for a couple of minor issues. Let’s start with the good. We met the owner, and he seems like a good guy. Kind and friendly, as were all of his staff. The wine was superb, and reasonably priced. My two guests and I shared a bottle. The fries were excellent; perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. One of my guests enjoyed the spicy ketchup they came with, but my other guest and I stuck with the ranch. Honestly, they don’t need much dipping sauce. My guest thoroughly enjoyed their entrees, one had one of the macaroni and cheese dishes and the other had the chicken salad. My guest who had the chicken salad even had about half of it to take home with her because it was a generous portion. Sadly, I don’t think that I can try their macaroni and cheese because they appear to use truffle oil, and I’m allergic to mushrooms (I’m not sure if that extends to truffles) but it’s a good culinary choice. The bananas foster bread pudding was out of this world good.

Take a wander up Norma’s Alley in Paso Robles to find Jeffry’s Wine Country BBQ! What a treat. They’re tucked into an openair brick courtyard with wine tasting rooms on the side. We actually ate here twice over a 48 hour trip to Paso–the first time we carried into the wine tasting room and the second time we went back just for the food! Great wine and beer offerings, but oh, those chopped tri-tip tacos are something else!

Pretty good flavors, but nothing mind blowing. I would have liked the meats warmer and the bun too. Nice outdoor patio area. Personally, I don’t like having to line up and order at the counter and theb be asked to give 20% plus tip at time of payment. No pricing on the drinks available either, which is an unwelcome tactic.

Smoked wings are juicy on the inside crispy on the outside. The paella was delicious as well. The cheesecake for dessert was moist and fluffy. Plenty of outside seating in a quaint courtyard. Large umbrellas provide plenty of shade on a sunny day. It’s an order then seat yourself restaurant. Place your number on your table and food is brought to the table. Waitstaff is friendly and service was fast and accurate. Dine in on 6/18/2023, 3 PM Father’s Day, no wait!

Really great place, tasty food, friendly staff, lovely outdoor patio with heating for evenings and umbrellas for shade on hot days. The meats were all delicious (we had sampler platter to try everything)—really balanced flavors and good tenderness and smokiness. Sides were superb: amazing Brussels, coleslaw, and award winning max-n-cheese. Wine and beer, some sports big screens for games. Big clean restrooms. Really good stuff!!

The best BBQ in Paso! My husband didn’t even like ribs much until he tried them here – now it’s a favorite, for both of us. And I’m not even a dessert person, but their smoked chocolate mousse – wow! Also love they’ve turned a grid parking lot into a cute place to hang out and eat delish food.
