This restaurant is for those who are looking for “mexican food”, but don’t care about eating “Mexican food.”
There’s little authentic about the food, and the biggest flaw is the severe lack of seasoning. It’s quite upsetting how little seasoning they use, even for their stronger menu items.
Unfortunately, for those of us who have an above average, developed palette, who know the seasoning shortcomings of Raisin Canes, who own at least 5-10 different seasonings at home, and who’ve had some REAL authentic cultural foods,- namely Mexican, etc – you will not get any flavorful satisfaction from this restaurant’s food.
I had the taco bowl, and dare i say that it was was just barely a step above Taco Bell.
The atmosphere is nice. The staff are friendly.
Prices are – like everything else -through the unauthentic-Mexican casita’s roof.
The only silver lining is the portion size which is larger than some places.
Unfortunately, i see no reason to give higher than 3 stars, anytime soon. This is the most “3 star restaurant” I’ve been to in a while.
If you’re looking for “just a Mexican restaurant”to eat at, this is a good option.. But if you’re looking for good, real, authentic Mexican food, you may want to look somewhere else, that uses more pepper, cumin, and other seasonings that you’d expect from a strong-flavored authentic Mexican cuisine.

It was a pretty good Tex mex joint. I got the chile Relleno. It was good, a little small but plenty to fill me up.
One thing I wish they had charo beans. Refried was the only option.
Got the spicy margarita and it was really good. Had pretty good spice but nothing crazy.
Worth going here and trying if you have not yet.

Fun place with great food!! Lots of cars in the parking lot which is a recommendation in itself ♥️♥️ Atmosphere is excellent and service is friendly. The beef fajitas were yummy and plentiful. My buddy had the enchiladas and loved them. Stop by and give them a try.

Came here for the first time for lunch with my husband, son, and in laws on Saturday. Our waitress was Bailey. She was nice at first. My mother in law wanted the fajita salad off the lunch menu and Bailey told her she could only get the fajita salad off the appetizer menu. So that’s what she ordered. My mil thought it came with sour cream (lunch menu says it came with sour cream) and instead of telling my mil she could get her some or oh! You ordered from the appetizer menu, that’s why it didn’t come with it. She decided to tell my mother in law “It’s not on the menu, I can go get it and we can look at it together if you’d like. And technically it’s not supposed to come with the guacamole but you got that.” Wow…that was rude and unnecessary. Why did she have to tell her about the gauc? She didn’t ask for it so why mention it? Then after that Bailey was no longer friendly. My mil was not rude either. She was simply confused about the menu showing one thing and not getting what she thought she was getting. Do better Bailey. Not sure we’ll be back. Basic Tex mex food. Nothing special.

Wish I found this earlier while at Sheppard AFB. I would have been here much sooner to enjoy great food and the tasty drinks.

What I truly appreciated the most was the company. The restaurant was a comfortable vibe to host a gathering mid week for a group of widowers from church with the goals of motivating themselves & one another. My classmate & I were blessed to be invited by a retired Lt Col (with the kindest heart, amazing driving skills & such a true gentleman) who we met at the local Methodist church we visited.

I sincerely appreciate the restaurant host staff for being patient with us while ordering & accommodating all around. I loved to see the reverence and care they had for this group of amazing people with awesome storied and history to share. My heart and stomach was full after here

Ordered 12 flour tortillas to go. Was hoping for freshly home made, was very disappointed picking them up just to see they were store bought heated up. Wish I knew that before hand, as this was my first time here. I could have saved money and I had the same ones in my pantry at home.

I got the burrito supreme, They could have done a better job at ingredient distribution. All the tomatoes and sour cream were in the center. The meat was a little bland in my opinion. But not too bad.
The free salsa was also a little bland. But the chips are good.
The restaurant was clean, and the Service was good.

My folks actually told me about this place and decided to tag along one day. I’m glad I did as the food was absolutely amazing with the best chicken enchilada with ques-o in in this city. The chips and salsa were quite addictive to say the least. The service was okayish thanks to such quality teamwork assisting others.

I got there for lunch, and in no less than two places on the door it says please wait to be seated. Only one customer in the place and two waitresses are in the back talking…I finally had to walk closer to the kitchen so they could see me and seat me. After the rest of my party arrived (three of us total)…we sat awhile after they figured out what they wanted…I finally walked over by the kitchen to get someone’s attention again. When she (Ashley) came out and gave me a bit of an attitude. Asked if I needed something…I said we needed to order…to which she responded she was giving us time to figure out what we wanted and asked if we were ready yet (??). Ordered…jefes special burn the vegetables. Took a bit to get our food…when my drink sat empty for awhile someone from our party got tired of waiting and picked it up and brought it to them…and they said to take it back and they would come get it…seems like both waitresses there had a bad attitude. Food comes… vegetables NOT well done. When a member of our party asked for a drink refill, the second waitress that brought the food said that she can see everything we need, that she’ll bring it. She filled the single glass, and nothing else on the table, to include empty salsa containers. Salsa and drinks sit empty way too long. Save the trouble, and go to Carlitos in Burk…much better service and a lot less attitude.
