I have passed Jefe Paletas many times and always wanted to stop by. When I went in the place was packed. It was obvious that this place is very popular.
I didn’t know what to get. When it comes to desserts I normally choose chocolate flavors. One thing I noticed was that the majority of the flavors are fruit flavors. I’m not opposed to fruit flavors but I saw a cookies and cream (Oreo) ice cream which looked delicious. I decided to get the Oreo cup. I’m not sure the exact size I ordered but it was at least 2 or 3 scoops. It was less than $7.
I took my order home and I can say that this ice cream was very tasty. It was very rich but not overwhelmingly sweet. I definitely want to try more flavors.

Definitely unique. Great customer service. I do think their menu items are for acquired tastes but definitely worth stopping by to try something out. My husband got the watermelon. It’s tossed in lime juice and salt but without the spicy drizzle. I got the kid size pistachio popsicle. Very nice people there.

We finally had the opportunity to stop at this gem and we will most definitely be back VERY soon. Walking into the place it was spotless and smelled so fresh. The treats all looked delicious. I was feeling adventurous and ordered the Jefe Cup. It was a beautiful blend of spicy and sweet. I recognize it’s not for everyone but it was delightful for me. The others I was with ordered Snow White’s and they were in heaven. The customer service and quality were top notch.

Spectacular! We had Loco pops with fresh fruit instead of candy. The paletas were strawberry with a kiwi slice and mango chili. (We’ve made a mental list of other flavors we want to try.) While we’re only in town visiting family, we’re spreading the word to our local folks. Highly recommended!
