We stumbled upon Jeannine’s at the Shore while driving up the coast, and it turned out to be such a great find. The location is perfect, making it an ideal stop whether you’re exploring the area or just looking for a relaxing place to eat.

The patio seating is a big highlight — comfortable, inviting, and paired with a wonderful ambient atmosphere that really captures the laid-back coastal vibe. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy the surroundings, and truly relax.

The brunch was delicious, with generous portions and great flavors across the menu. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and it was exactly what we were hoping for during a coastal drive. Even the butter was a more than welcomed guest, simply amazing.

Overall, Jeannine’s at the Shore offers great food, a beautiful setting, and an unbeatable location. We’re so glad we happened upon it and would absolutely return. Highly recommend if you’re along the coast and looking for a memorable brunch spot.

We went today to Jeannine’s for a birthday brunch and it was exceptional. The food and presentation was outstanding and the setting – how can one top that? Sitting outside in their courtyard on a warm day with bright sun? Pretty hard to beat.
I had the classic Eggs Benedict, our daughter the Florentine Eggs Benedict and my wife pancakes and eggs. Not to mention mimosas.

Jeannine’s Restaurant & Bakery is such a lovely place for breakfast or brunch. The food tastes fresh and homemade, from the eggs and potatoes to the pastries and bread. Their coffee and lattes are also very good and go perfectly with a sweet treat. The staff were warm, patient, and helpful, and the service felt relaxed but attentive. I loved the bright, cozy atmosphere and the charming décor, both inside and on the patio. It’s the kind of spot where you want to sit a little longer and enjoy your meal. I would definitely come back and recommend it to friends.

We arrived at 8:30 AM and were greeted right away by a staff member who handed us the menu, mentioned the special of the day, and directed us to the ordering area. The ordering line moved quickly—there were about seven people ahead of us, but it went down fast.

Our food was good, though not particularly memorable. The sandwiches had a generous amount of filling, and while the chilaquiles initially looked a bit small, my husband ended up feeling completely satisfied. However, considering the portion sizes and overall experience, the pricing felt a bit high for what you receive.

The standout was definitely the atmosphere. The outdoor seating area is beautiful, with palm trees and lots of sunshine, creating a relaxing and enjoyable environment.

Had heard about this spot on Tiktok! We made sure to get there a little early since the line can be a bit long, but the food and the beachy vibes were definitely worth the wait!
Started off with a blueberry and a strawberry lemonade which were super refreshing in the sun! Then we got some smoked salmon eggs benedicts (amazing!) and the other egg scramble with hashbrowns! My favorite though, was the french toast with mixed berries! Portions were huge – we did end up over-ordering, but it was incredible!

This was our second morning here, this place is fantastic. Friendly staff, inside and patio seating, great views
The food is fabulous. Second morning we got Avocado toast plus an omelet. Wonderful. Everything is buttery, they must cook everything in butter, it’s so good. Portion sizes are great. They have a ton of pastries, cookies and all sorts of good stuff. Something for everone. Try a Scone if you’re there
It is our favorite breakfast place in Santa Barbara. We love it

We came during peak hours and waited in line for about 20 minutes, but it didn’t bother us at all. The food was absolutely worth the wait — everything was delicious. The Eggs Benedict were amazing, and the mimosa was excellent as well. I would definitely come back here again✨

Staff was super friendly and the food was really good. The portions were huge too! The Eduardo Omlet had tri-tip underneath which really elevated the dish. The poppyseed pancakes were really fluffy and the lemon cream that went along with the cherry on top. Staff was super friendly and the food was really good. The portions were huge too! This should be the first place you visit if you come to SB. Don’t be afraid if you see a line, it goes by fast. You place your order at the counter inside and then go find an empty table with the food bring brought to you. At the door you are greeted by a wonderful older lady (I’m not sure if she’s the owner or not). She gave us suggestions on what to order and was really nice. Everything we ordered was great, I had the lemon poppyseed pancakes… They were amazing! Mimosas are given in these little cute buckets. All in and all, it’s a great place. Fast service, great food, and great views.

Such a great brunch for my first time at their beach location! We used to go to Montecito Jeanine’s but seems both locations are usually busy w tourists now. I can see why! Their at the shore location is so lovely. All staff was quick and friendly and went out of their way to ensure a good meal. The Norwegian eggs Benedict GF style (no English muffin and over potatoes instead) was so Delicious! Even the fruit side had dragon fruit and kiwi which I was pleasantly surprised by. I highly recommend even if you’re gluten free. They are great about substitutions.
