What a hidden jem! The food was excellent. Pretty much just your basic old school neighborhood style restaurant; but the food was really delicious. The wife got a muffuletta, I was skeptical-but ended up eating half her lunch : ) I also had their fried chicken-really delicious-freshly done, took a few minutes but well worth the wait. Definitely going back for their lunch specials.

We eat at Jeanie’s Restaurant frequently. The food is always fabulous. When you order, you know you will receive fresh food and amazing service. We have never once had a bad dish or poor service. Jeanie and her crew are as nice as you’ll find anywhere. The food was home cookin’ at its finest! If I lived closer, I’d be there every day… I had chicken fried steak, meatloaf, okra and tomatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy. My wife had catfish, shrimp, and oysters. All I can say is wow, that was all damn good!

I was in a party of 15, my ladies group. Our waitress Katie was phenomenal! Wasn’t as impressed with the kitchen. I ordered my burger medium and it was well done. Please take into consideration the place was pretty full, but I’ve been there before and was not impressed with the food then either. The rest of the 14 people were happy with theirs, so please take it into account.

Having recently lost my dad i have been mentally, emotionally and financially struggling and all I wanted to do was take my mom out to clear her head. Meanwhile my mom had to stand there and here this. Everyone feels if you can’t tip don’t go. We’ll sometimes that’s not the case and I’m going to do any and everything to try to help my mom get thru this. But I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN

This is now my favorite American burger joint. While the fries aren’t my personal favorite, they are well cooked and crispy. The burger and customer service are what makes this place stand out for me. Stellar on both fronts. I think if they changed the fryer oil to something nicely flavored it would markedly improve the fries.
The decor is very nice, while at the same time not distracting. I wouldn’t call it romantic but it is perfect for a lunch stop.
The prices are fantastic for the quality.
I will definitely be returning.
Jeannie’s Mc: a hamburger that is perfect with cheddar cheese.
Shrimp po-boy: excellent flavor and perfectly cooked shrimp.

My wife and I got onion rings for the appetizer and we also got the 1/2 Catfish 1/2 Shrimp plate and everything tasted amazing. The onion rings are mad fresh and the seafood tasted amazing. I highly recommend Jeannie’s.
