First time here from NJ. Decided to come here to get away from the crazy crowds in downtown and glad we did! Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. We were here at 11 and they were serving brunch. I had the Salmon BLT. This was the best sandwich I have ever tasted! The price was reasonable and the sandwich was pretty big. I hope to come back again if I’m in the area.

The Jealous Monk offers Gluten-Free and Vegetarian options. There are zero Vegan options, so I created my own meal. I ordered the Monk Beyond Burger with lettuce and tomato stuffed inside a wrap, along with a side of frites drizzled with truffle oil. Everything was incredibly satisfying! Unfortunately, their buns have dairy and eggs in them. I hope they add more Vegan options to their menu in the future.

Overall fantastic experience! The staff was very attentive and had a great vibe. The pretzel appetizer was soo delicious it was huge so definitely good to share with a second person and it was warm and soft and goes so well with the Bier cheese. Had the fish and chips while my friend had the blt with salmon which was also yummy! Definitely try the house whiskey its nice and smooth. We got seated pretty quickly as well

I very rarely would consider a restaurant to be a 10/10 across the board. However, after years of continually frequenting this establishment I can confidently say just that. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, the food is always delicious, the wide variety and quantity of beers circulating on draft is impressive and overall the way the business runs is smooth. I cherish my time here and always look forward to my next visit.

Got there early, no wait. Food was good. Service wasn’t great. Waitress was friendly just not attentive, I think we saw her 3 times. Wanted to try a local beer but we couldn’t even get a refill on our waters so decided to pass.

Was good. Will be back to try again. The service sucked. We sat at the bar, bartender gave us menus right away which was promising, but then he ignored us. Kept serving the rest of the bar and/or standing down on the end just chatting. We finally had to flag down a waitress from the floor to get our order taken. She apologized, but when waiting 15 minutes for someone to take your drink order, apologies only go so far. Will give another chance. The Reubens egg rolls were amazing.
