This is my family’s favorite place to get wings! I have two middle school aged boys, and they love the baked wings! I enjoy the honey bbq bombz and garlic pull apart bread. There are good deals for students who might want to grab lunch here, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. My kids love to shoot mini hoops, play pac man, connect 4, and hook the ring. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend trying it!

Pros: Very good wings, good size, juicy. The lemon pepper is extremely good, garlic Parmesan is ok. Tater tots although mushy (everything is baked so it’s all good)had very good taste, seasoning was delicious. The young lady working the kitchen was very friendly.
Cons: Young lady although very friendly was also the only person working, give her some help as I had to wait a good amount of time for my to go order. If I had more time I wouldn’t have minded but I had to get going. $22 for a 7 wing combo is sit down restaurant pricing, that’s a bit much. Music was too loud, I get the choloesque vibe you’re going for, not a fan, so I shouldn’t be forced to hear it if I’m eating there. Last is that you’re forced to tip, I would have most likely tipped regardless but it being forced on you is bringing greedy new Vegas vibes. I hate that.
Summary: I may come back if I’m in the area, I have time to kill, have a full wallet and want some very good wings. I won’t be driving over here from Buena Park to have it though.

I want to start off by first saying this: I am a wing SNOB. Straight up ruthless with my stance in what makes a good wing, a good wing. I typically stay far away from baked wings – I prefer a good crunch when I’m chomping into a flat or drum. But JD’s got it in the bag when it comes to the magic touch.
I had the Honey Hot, Creole BBQ, Dirty Mild and Hot. Absolutely crushed it on all of them. I will say that the flavor profile of the Honey Hot left some room, they were the lesser of the 4. My favorite was the Dirty Buffalo with the Lemon Pepper. Insane flavor combo.
The toast was good but nothing too crazy, Texas Toast could’ve been a bit crisper. Double veggies were good and crunchy.
Spent over $45 on the 20 piece family meal with tax and tip. Id order that again or for a big party. Some reviews say order well done for a crunch, Ill try that next time!

These guys just know what they’re doin! Wings are on point and this garlic bread, I mean, you have to try it. The place is SUPER clean and has plenty of space and seating. The service you get from them is as if you’ve known them for years. Just awesome!

JD’s has become my favorite local wing spot. I hesitated on trying them for so long because they’re baked, I didnt think they’d be as good as my favorite fried wings but they are delicious. Get them well done. The food is always good, I still haven’t decide which sauce I like best because they’re all good. The staff are friendly and very polite. It makes the dining experience that much better when you see the staff take pride in what they do. I highly recommend JD’s.

I liked everything about this place. Wings were nice and meaty. Cooked to perfection. Ranch was legit. Had the Hawaiian Teriyaki, the Nashville Hot, and the Garlic Parm. Before you judge me on garlic parm, get a side of O.G. hot and douse those garlic wings, dunk in the ranch and thank me later. Wish I had the stomach to eat another 15 wings. Whenever I’m in town, I know I’m going to crave this place now.
