Awful. Grinder is 17.00 plus tax and I got a tiny grinder hardly no meat and no ketchup on it bc they say they put it on the side in packets…. what kind of restaurant does that? Its not a food truck. Even mcdonalds put ketchup on their sandwiches…… they my burger was built upside down my burger on top of the bacon and the tomatoes and the cheese…. and my fries omg were so dry and old you can see in the Pic that they are dirt and dry and off color they’ll arent golden brown. Waaaay too much money for food not cared about and not cooked properly. Its sad. The manager or owner is never in he is always in and out spoken to me by the lady Amy up front of house. My father owes restaurants and he never let this type of food come out of his kitchen. Its real sad. We spent 58.58$ for crap. Stuff we arent happy with. And Amy says there is nothing I can do for you I have to help these people waiting. Took my number and name and said tomorrow she will pass it on. I mean come on thats the best you can do? Very nasty experience. I was extremely uncomfortable during my visit and will not be coming back. The drink I was served had a dough-like substance floating in it, which was absolutely disgusting. I don’t know what it was, but it should never happen, and it immediately made me stop drinking it. When I brought it up, the response I got felt dismissive and rude instead of apologetic or concerned. That alone says a lot about how customers are treated.
On top of that, the food was dry and poorly prepared, like it had been sitting out for a long time. No care, no freshness, no quality. When you’re paying for a meal, the bare minimum should be food that’s edible and safe, and service that treats you with respect.
The overall attitude from staff made the situation worse. Instead of trying to fix the issue or make things right, it felt like I was being brushed off. That’s unacceptable, especially when there’s a possible contamination issue with a drink.
Between the nasty drink, dry food, and rude attitude, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values cleanliness, quality, or basic customer service.

Night out with the wife and chose a local place. JD’s has been a place we wanted to try for a while and glade we finally did.
This charming place was pretty clean and tidy. The waitress was super nice and did an excellent job.
We sat at a booth and had an very delicious meal. It was simple, Fried Mozzarella, Baked Lasagna and Ziti with Meatsauce. The dinners came with soup or salad and we chose the salad. It was very fresh and a perfect size to start. The fried Mozzarella was delicious. The best i’ve had in a while. The rest of the dinner was great.
I would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to have a great meal and support a local place. You won’t regret. Cheers!

Best onion pizza ever! We stop here on the way from NY to MA just for this pizza. Very friendly place with great service and great people. Keno is a plus!

Me and my boyfriend come here often and it is a hit or miss. Chicken francese is our go to and we do like it especially from here, if something comes out wrong they are very quick to fix it. I often come back because of my favorite server pretty sure her name is dominique or something similar she is a joy and very friendly. Love the atmosphere very chill

JD’s in Southington was pretty good. Service was really friendly. Food was served quickly. Roast Beef Club Sandwich was your typical club sandwich. Inside of restaurant looked clean. Will definitely go back to try the pizza one night.

Our waitress was great even though she was busy. The fried eggplant was crispy and delicious with Mariana sauce. 10/10 The JD special pizza was about a 7.5/10. Love the amount of toppings!

Where to begin? Our company had a meeting near Southington and we were told from the staff at Plan B, that JD’s was the place to be. A few shots and mixed drinks deep my friend and I walk out for a vape break and see the most delightful, older woman in the hidden office with bottles lining the walls and beautiful photos of her homeland Greece. She told us all about her journey to America, the business, her husband and showed us photos of her kids and grand kids. We really had the best time getting to know Eva and Amy our server. We were a tad rowdy but Amy had great customer service. We ended our night with a tour of Eva’s imported lemon tree from Greece on the patio (it’s a must see!) and a christening of ringing the bell! I was told I was the first to ring it, they may have been hyping me up, but I had the best time at Jd’s!! 10/10 recommend and will make sure to swing by next time in the area. We love you Eva and you’re an absolute gem of a human it was a pleasure meeting you!

Prices on menu aren’t updated online, so you have no idea how much your order is until you pick it up. Ordered a tossed salad with no olives tomatoes or onions and added feta cheese and chicken which says $4.99 extra you get a tiny cup of dressing additional tiny dressing $1.00 so when I pick up my order $22.00 I couldn’t believe it a antipasto salad with meat is $10.99 well online price outrageous order a ceaser salad another time and lettuce was soaking wet in the container it leaked on the bag. Advice is don’t order salads for take out
