We finally made it into JD’s Kitchen. The most important thing to share with you is that this is a great place to pick up food before heading home or picking up for an event so you will not see tables for seating. The staff were kind and amiable…very helpful as we navigated the menu.
There are a lot of things on the menu that I will have to go back for (they recently introduced wings.) We went for a grilled chicken bacon sandwich meal and the spicy chicken bacon sandwich meal. The fries are battered (we loved them) but it is good to know in advance and there are several other sides on the menu. My wife loved hers. For me, the cutlet was a little thin and didn’t have the kick I was hoping for (I love heat) but it was still a good meal.
I expect to raise this rating on the next visit as we think about the burgers, the chicken fried steak sandwich, salads, wings and tenders to try in the future. I now know why we always see cars there.

When I saw that the chicken came in a bucket, I’m knew it was going to be good! And they did not disappoint! Both the chicken and the fixings were delicious!! They have a customer in me!! The fried Chicken was well seasoned and crispy, the mashed potatoes was flavorful and the corn was buttery sweet. My son had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was simply Delicious!!

3/5 stars Major disappointment at Jd’s! My family and I have been loyal customers since they first opened, hitting up their spot every Friday and occasionally on weekends for a cheat meal. Lately, though, things have gone downhill fast. Today’s order was soggy – chicken strips and fries lacked any crunch. Adding insult to injury, portions have shrunk, especially the fries. We’re talking almost no fries in the box, which is a big letdown for the price. This marks three recent orders falling short of expectations. Used to love their food, but until they sort out quality and portion issues, we’ll be dining elsewhere.
Fortunately, took picture too late to show the amount of fried and sogginess. I had to throw away the rest making me gross out.

The staff were super friendly, the vibes were chill, the music was good, and the food came out quickly. I got the number 8, the classic cheeseburger with grilled onions; it was so yummy! My mom got the number 6, the grilled chicken sandwich; she said it was really tasty as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

Ordered several fried catfish plates with sides of mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and fries. Fried catfish was exceptional. Really exceptional. Portions were decent, breading was crisp, light, perfectly fried, not greasy, and well seasoned. Fillets were portioned into strips, which I always appreciate for evenness of cooking and better ratio. Fries were similarly excellent, well seasoned, perfect fry, and fresh.
Giving five star review, despite severely lackluster mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes. The freshness and excellent preparation of the protein, french fries, and hush puppies were enough to compensate.

Went during lunch recently. The employee was very nice and establishment has a good atmosphere offering To-Go only. I got the #4 Spicy Chicken sandwich. My first bite into it revealed the chicken patty was thinner than the tomato slice, with an empty gap in the center. The fries and sandwich had good flavor other than lacking chicken in a chicken sandwich.

We stopped in after the toy run because we’d never tried this place before. It was me, my husband, and our son. For three basic meals, we paid about $40, which is honestly ridiculous for the quality and quantity.
The biggest problem was the service. My husband simply asked if he could add an egg to his burger, and the girl at the counter snapped back with, “Egg? We don’t have eggs,” with a nasty attitude. There was absolutely no reason for her to talk like that. We weren’t asking for anything crazy. We just assumed they might have eggs since they serve wings. The attitude alone was enough to ruin the experience.
The food was fine, but nothing special and definitely not worth the price or the disrespect. Between the overpriced meals and the rude staff, we won’t be back.

This place is DELICIOUS! I had the chicken fried chicken. Seasoned to perfection, breaded perfectly, not too thick with the perfect texture. The chicken was moist and tender. I could cut it with a fork! The crème gravy was the right thickness and also seasoned perfectly. My sides were mashed potatoes and corn. Both perfect.
My husband had a burger and fries. He said he hasn’t had a burger this good in a long time! Needless to say , we will be back.

Coming back to add to my review after eating different options at JD’s the hamburgers are good the fries are delicious! My kids love the tenders the chicken fried steak is really good too the breakfast sausage and egg biscuits are one of my go to and saving the best for last are the mango habanero WINGS!! Hands down the best wings I’ve ever tried even better the Wingstop!! They some how made a wing tender and so juicy and buttery!!
