We just ordered take out from here for the first time, it was the worst food we ever had. I should been suspicious cause the people next to me sent their soup back. The grilled sandwich wasn’t toasted, barely any roast inside it or cheese, the onion rings were not cooked & oinions still crunchy inside. We received potato salad instead of the brussel sprouts we ordered and ordered two ranch dressings that we did not receive. Never again will order from there. Worst place we ever tried. I have photos to post of food.

Outstanding service. We came here with a group of 30, with reservations ahead of time, and I’m super impressed with how quickly we got our food. The staff was lovely.
The Ribs were super yummy and tender, the brisket was so tender it fell apart, and the pulled pork was good. The mac n cheese skillet is huge, so expect leftovers.
The brussel Sprouts appetizer is shaved brussel Sprouts, which i wasn’t expecting, but they were still pretty good.

Went there with my brother and my father to celebrate my brother’s birthday. We had a delicious lunch served by a very friendly and competent waitress. The food was excellent. Each one of us was happy with what we chose. Plenty of parking. A menu with great selections and the price was not bad at all. I can see going back here!

This place is the closest thing to a hometown bar and restaurant you could ever ask for! Danny and Jim who own the place and all of the bartenders and waitresses are absolutely incredible! Rachael, Janette, Suzi just incredible! Love the smashburger!!

The staff is very friendly. I’ve tried several items and they were all ok! My only real complaint is they have a smash burger on the menu but it’s not a smash burger. It’s two regular patty’s. I asked for well done and one burger was still very pink. My suggestion is to take smash out off of the menu, because that’s not what the burger is and this was my second time ordering it thinking it may have just been the cook.

Walleye was dry with way too much seasoning and it smelled like it might have been bad and you could tell the vegetables were the bagged frozen kind. Cheeseburger was awful, my daughter wouldn’t eat it, I tried it also and agreed. Smash burger was okay but it wasn’t a smashburger it was just two regular burger patties. French onion soup was just okay as well. We’ve been here before and liked it but after the last 2 times I don’t think I can try again.

Jim runs a great restaurant, every time I’ve been here he and his staff have always made sure I was okay. Food is incredible and atmosphere is always awesome. Definitely catch some live music if you can! 10/10. Best spot in Kennedy!

They have to spend some time training their cooks. First time I came i got a steak hoagie and my girlfriend got a salmon salad. Driest steak hoagie I ever had and the salmon was pretty undercooked on the salad. Thought it may have been a fluke and went back and we both got burgers. the waitress asked how we wanted them and we said medium. What we got was two very rare burgers (the bottom of the bun on mine was soaked with blood). we sent them back and they came back closer to medium rare, but still definitely not medium.

staff was very friendly and apologetic

Business has replaced Bobby D’s that used to be here. Has a full bar and separate dining room.

Pizza is now on the menu. Had French onion soup that tasted somewhat watered down. Also had Reuben sandwich with Cole slaw. Please be aware of the fact that if the side is not listed on the menu then you will pay a slight up charge for it.

Coleslaw was very good and Reuben was a generous potion. Take out is also available.

Great service from staff.

It’s hit or miss with service. When they have large tables you will wait longer than usual. Apparently not enough help. Gina was our server and was clearly overwhelmed. She was really doing her best to accommodate customers.
