The atmosphere was nice, calm, and relaxing. We arrived around 10:30 a.m. for a late breakfast, and it was fairly empty, which we really appreciated.
Pamela (I believe that was her name) was absolutely wonderful. She was knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and very attentive — truly the highlight of our visit.
Unfortunately, the food and service time did not meet the same standard. We ordered a breakfast panini that came out smelling burnt. Our second order was an omelet with medium-rare steak, but the steak was overly cooked and charred. On top of that, we waited almost 40 minutes for our food, even though there were only about eight customers in the restaurant at the time.
For a first visit, this was very disappointing. A manager was supposed to come speak with us, but instead Pamela was sent to relay the message. While she sincerely apologized and handled it professionally, the lack of management presence was noticeable and frustrating.
They did make things right, and I truly appreciate Pamela’s effort and kindness. However, based on this experience, I don’t feel confident about returning.
I had the burger. The burger was good although you cant get mayo or mustard if you wanted. The homemade fries awesome!
Other than the small bathroom type cups for water (glass though lol) the server and atmosphere was awesome!!
JD’s is on point. The food is fantastic, made with whole ingredients. They have a good variety of grab-n-go options. The dining room has a great atmosphere.
They have gluten free options for meals and desserts.
The best part is the restaurant is **Seed oil free!**
Great service and cozy seating and lighting and a great place to work from and quiet. I enjoyed my oat milk latte with house syrup and their apricot carrot cake was fresh! They have a variety of grab and go options outside of lunch service hours! Excited to try them out again!
And the poptarts, red velvet and strawberry cakes.
Finally stopped by for a Thursday dinner and everything was great.
Special was fried pickles with bang bang / ranch sauce and it was DELICIOUS.
The staff truly elevate the experience. Attentive without hovering, kind without being scripted—you can tell they genuinely care about the guests and the energy of the room. That spirit carries straight into the food, which is thoughtful, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. Each dish feels like it belongs exactly where it is, both comforting and inspired.
What stood out most, though, was the soul of the place. There’s a sense of purpose here—a quiet confidence and hospitality that goes beyond good service or good food. It’s the kind of restaurant you don’t just eat at, you feel. Beautiful all around, and absolutely worth returning to.
