JD Crawfish New Orleans Seafood

I had gotten Fried Shrimp yesterday at Crawfish Seafood Market in Conyers, GA yesterday and they were absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! Tasted like they were cooked in old grease, were tough and tasted burnt with absolutely NO seasoning!!!! But today I tried JD Crawfish and baby when I tell you theirs was on point!!!! Fresh and Hot just the way I like them!!!! I’ll definitely be back for more!!!! And with a health score of 100!!!! Oh yeah….I’LL BE BACK!!!! I can say that JD Carwfish has decent food. My shrimp and fries were well prepared. Would I recommend then for Lunch or dinner absolutely. My mom’s grilled ocean perch dinner combo came with grilled shrimp and two sides. I’m still salty about that because the young lady could’ve recommended that and I would’ve got one too. But, all the food was good. 7.5 out of 10. My fried shrimp was fried really well. The fries were crispy. Shrimp could’ve been seasoned more, but that may have been because I didn’t want my order spicy. Because of my dietary restrictions I can’t handle spice levels over 0.5 (not even 1 or 2 Spice levels). My brother jad the same order and he had no complaints, just smacking and finger cleaning. My mom raved about her grilled fish with shrimp combo. I would definitely JD Crawfish. Priced moderately average. The average person will spend from $12-$18 per person on a regular order. Bigger appetites will probably average $18 to $25 per person. I posted pics of their current menu with prices. If you crave seafood they will be a better option than Horrible Captain D’s on 138. Customer Service is good so I can’t complain. My wait time for my family order was 10l8 mins from payment to receiving my food.

Repeat customer.. this time I had the combo with crab legs, shrimp, mussels, crawfish, potato, corn and sausage.. really really flavorful. Went during lunch time called my order in it was ready within five minutes of being there. I got JD sauce medium. Perfect level of spice for me

I ate here years ago and they were good. I decided to try them again. I ordered 2 Sea Food Boils which were Disgusting and Bland. The seafood definitely wasn’t Fresh, honestly felt like I wasted over $50 on food. I literally had to re-season my own food at home just so I could eat it. I should’ve just went to The Juicy Crab, won’t be coming back here ever.

The food is great! Our host was very sweet and very good at her job. My companion got the bass, I got the salmon. Good spices in the Cajun Seasoning, a touch salty but I don’t add a lot to anything, so that’s on me. She said hers was fabulous, the shrimp was also great, so was the fried okra. Great food!

I frequent this place at least 3xs a month. But today was different. I waited over 20 mins for a pound of fried shrimp and 2 pcs of perch. I ordered Cajun seasoned fries which was soggy and lukewarm. Definitely needs to change the grease in the fryer and please find some better cashiers. Because the server was dressed like she just rolled out of bed. She had on a jacket and pajama pants. No shirt but her under garments could be seen thru her half buttoned jacket. Other than that the food is usually good. And cashiers should be more helpful for people when ordering in example suggestive selling.

The food is great!!! I had the lunch special, broiled tilapia and corn…also featured is the fried catfish po boy…amazing the food is fresh and really good. They do have a few tables for dine in!!!! They don’t offer alcoholic beverages.

This spot is a mandatory go-to when I visit my family in Conyers, GA. I highly recommend their frog legs, po boys, and all of their seafood dishes. I legitimately don’t think you could go wrong trying anything on the menu. They’ve been in the area for years and for good reason. It’s delicious Louisiana cuisine at the same quality that you’d find more towards Atlanta or a major city. A real gem, honestly.

This place was recommended by the ladies at Highs Hair Therapy in Decatur, GA. Fantastic! I took a star away because it was too cold to sit in and eat; I sat outside on the bench in front of the store. But PLEASE do yourself some justice and go eat at this place. It’s cold up in there, so just get your grub to go! You WILL enjoy this deliciousness

I tried JD Crawfish New Orleans Seafood for the first time tonight. It looks like the restaurant is carry out only although lunch time may allow dine-in. I don’t know. (It doesn’t matter as most similar restaurants are doing the same lately).
The customer service was excellent! Once the front counter lady realized that I would have to adjust my order, she brought it to my attention and made sure that my adjustments matched my original order. She was friendly and helpful.
I was very impressed with the taste of my dish, fried flounder dinner with two sides plus one piece of fried Swai added on. Even after an almost 20 – minute drive home, my food was still hot. The fish and shrimp were seasoned perfectly and my sides were fresh and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and by the size of the fried shrimp. I will be returning soon. LOL!
I highly recommend!
